So LCPDFR works fine for me in every respect....except when I hit alt - T to use my taser. I then cant seem to holster the tazer so I scroll through my weapons, but when I get back to my sidearm its the deagle not the glock. Please help im confused :(

alt T to Holster One more time to take it out and if you want the glock open your trunk to get your gun and do it until you have enough ammo

Have you tryed pressing ALT + T more than once? I can't get it out myself without doing that. But this may not be the answer to the issue you're having...

1. If you want your taser to actually appear on your belt, open up the "FirstResponse.ini" and change the value from 0 to 1 in the taser section.
   
2. Then in game, press ALT+T and the taser will appear on your belt. Press ALT+T and the taser will be drawn ready to be used.
   

I have had a problem where when I draw my taser, my pistol is dropped and then if I walk near another pistol such as a desert eagle, i pick it up.

I'm pretty sure this has been fixed in the nightly builds for a while. Until the next release, just follow the other suggestions.

Some sort of the same problem. I've changed the .ini file, so the taser appears on the belt when pressing Alt+T, but it won't let me take the taser to use it.

Did you press ALT+T to place it on the belt then ALT+T again to use it?

Yes, this problem occurs to me as well. I've tried loading a save game where I have a pistol and a save game where I have a DE saved in my weapons, but no dice. Whenever I bring out the taser, the pistol switches to the DE. I need to use a trainer to bring the pistol back as well, because just picking up one or getting it from the trunk will prevent it from having infinite ammo (set as default in my trainer). I think it's a bug with how the taser is given to the player, since this happens on multiple computers and on both GTA IV and EFLC that I run LCPD:FR on.

This means that the taser model wasn't installed correctly in your weapons.img file. Did you run the installer as an admin and unchecked the GTA IV root folder's read-only attribute? Doing these two things does the trick.
