[WIP] LAPD/LASD/CHP FPIU (2014)

Featured Replies

Personally, as long as it's anything but what the vanilla peds have right now, where it goes straight up to the shoulder. Going to the shirt collar like you pictured or around the back like steinberg did would both look great.

Also, when you are done with the LAPD peds, would you ever consider doing LASD Peds?

Although I know most of the officers who use the mics use motorola commander II mics like in the picture placed on the left side of the belt and it runs strait up to the shoulder or (mostly bike cops do this) it's place on the right side of the belt or on the back of the belt and it runs diagonally across the back up to the shoulder.

thank you for detailed answer!

Progress looks good. Will the 2016 have the same interior as the 2014?

well, firstly its not explorer interior, its 'taurus' interior, because its Ford Police Interceptor Sedan

second, there's only small difference between '14 and '16 fpis as i know, correct me if i'm wrong

haha! I New It you are making a sedan, and those weren't just a series of typos!  I can't wait to see how this is going to turn out.

wait. Now I'm confused, are you just making the interior or are you making an entire car or is that a surprise?

well, idk what is it. but its will be accurate 2015 or 2016 LAPD setup FPIS, and most likely Unmarked LAPD version too.

yeah, i need help with information about equipment, also about which engine LAPD uses, 3.7 or 3.5 or something else. also i need some pics of interior to texture interior as close as possible to real, because fpis has some interior trim options, so idk which one LAPD uses

Also, i want to know. LAPD buy white FPIS and paste it black? because at this pic door frames is white, so, the door frames always painted the body color. so its means car was full white

Canon S100 new LAPD vehicles Ballistic Panel interior

but its was 2013, so idk about '15-16 version

just a test of FPIS interior, please do not pay attention on reflections in the mirrors. Its will be realistic when i will convert model, not just testing (yep, when i test the model i just fast converting the model. and after test i'm delete the convert and continue work with source.

All bugs willl be fixed, and some stuff will be remodeled to accurate one.

the LAPD uses the 3.7L V6. as far as the other questions go, i cannot find a good picture of the interior or get any information regarding the color combination. my guess would be that the get the taurus delivered as a "black and white" unit :  http://www.gminsidenews.com/forums/f13/cop-car-shootout-9c3-detective-caprice-vs-charger-pursuit-vs-ford-interceptor-mt-112840/index2.html and the interior looks close to the FPIU setup for the LAPD. 2012-ford-explorer-police-interceptor-in
