i couldn't find a larger image of it, but that is the LAPD's interior setup

That's a CHP utility. I have yet to find another agency that uses rockwell collins's MDC systems.

This should help a lot!! It's a good sized video, high quality, it's the exact same layout as all LAPD Utilities, except without the additional equipment that the LAPD add after (so no laptop, radio, prisoner seating, partitions etc). But the layout of the dashboard, steering wheel, and front seats is the exact same. No good look at the ceiling though. I found it should help a lot, a very good close up on all the parts of the interior. Watch it all, it shows everything, including the trunk, then when you need to model it, pause the video. I hope it helps.

Also, note the seats are very flat, thats for the police officers equipment, so when you model it keep it flat. Whatever is here is also on the LAPD vehicle, so the buttons on the steering wheel are there too. All basic Utilities look exactly like this, then each department adds their own equipment.

Good luck!

Are the LAPD likely to use the Panasonic Cf-19's? I've seen images of Dell Latitudes rocking around in the CVPI's, I'm not sure if they'd be put into the new Explorers. I'm not sure what computers are used in the Utilities actually

Can someone help with photo of security stickers? they are in all explorers and interceptors utility
I think I'd better take the time to modeling and not search for photos. Thanks!

Canon S100 new LAPD vehicles 079

Ballistic panel marking on the right door. This is the Utility, so that's in the right place.

Some LAPD Utilities have the Harvis integrated screen, like the one above.

Setina Sticker on the prisoner divider. The one I mentioned in a previous post.

I've seen some regular looking laptops floating around (when I say regular, I mean the ones you might use at home or work) and some seperate screen/keyboard combos.

Hmmm, yeah, the LAPD doesn't seem to have a standardised vehicle package, their Dodge Chargers (2011-2013) seem to have the integrated screen, Impala's have laptops, so do the CVPI's, but obviously they're different. Motorcycle division has the CF-19's. So unnecessarily complex

How do you edit the carsvariations.meta file. It can't be done in OpenV

You drag the file out onto your desktop, edit it with notepad and then put it back into OpenIV...
