  • Immigration BS in Europe, and how it ruined our welfare and economy. It's cheaper to fight ISIS, build temporary camps in that region and make the problem dissapear instead of shipping them here.

  • Obama leaving office.

  • Honestly, probably Windows 10. Or Steve Jobs turning in his grave after Apple announced that iPencil or whatever it's called.

Nothing, nothing whatsoever happened this year that will go down in the history books

One of my friends told me the Charlie Hebdo shootout in January may be added in some history books in France next year.

Oh yah, might be a history subject in 30 or so years. All about IS

Agreed. It's not just Europe either. Canada has "Volunteered" in quotes as the majority of current actual Canadian Citizens are against shipping boat load after boat load of god knows what here, however the Government does what it wants.

Canada may be one of the largest countries in the world, but it can't simply just become another India.

Please don't forget that the United States, of course, has to "get some while the getting is good". We're supposed to take 10,000 of them.

Interesting. We're supposed to get around 10.000 of them too. I'm all for helping other countries, but jesus christ help out your own damn citizens first.

Although, what I find interesting is that no one, at least in Government power, seems to be learning from past history.....

What I find most interesting is how our governments have yet to ask the American and Canadian people how we feel about taking in the migrants. Our president Barack Obama went out of his boundaries and spoke on behalf of the entire American population in welcoming the migrants, yet he never actually asked the American population how they felt about it. I even heard talks that our Secretary of State John Kerry was going to allow 40,000 migrants to enter the United States, LOL. We already have an issue with migrants here, the last thing we need to do right now is welcome another 10,000 - 40,000. Just another instance the United States overstepping its capabilities and trying to be the big hero of the world again. "Oh, we'll take all of your migrants because we're America, the land of the free"! What a joke.

Oh lol, at least you won't take 0.5 million in 10 years like we did, lol.

Look at this demographics chart, it's the population of Sweden.

See that big bump since the '80s? That's our immigration.

It's -not- cheaper to fight ISIS. I don't think you've the slightest idea of how many millions it costs to maintain ships, aircrafts, vehicles and weapons to say that. If people immigrate towards our countries, it's because our governments brought war in their countries. Logical thinking is that they're moving to richer areas to try and escape their poor situation (such as war, famine, epidemies, thirst). Nothing more, nothing less. This whole "Immigration costs billions" is bullshit, and has been proven bullshit numerous times, a simple research on Google can tell you that. Also, they are not "shipped", they are moving by themselves. It's called migratory flow. That's what the founders of the US did. They migrated to other lands after having been forced to do so, and if my memories are good, they massacred the natives, so I doubt any of the US or Canada can actually speak on that matter when they did the same thing a few hundred years ago -in worse. Besides, most migrants are actually from -at least- the middle class society, they had enough money to move here by themselves, and most of them speak english fluently (and let me tell you only instructed people can speak english in these areas).

So please, PLEASE. If you want to talk about such serious matter, do some researches first, and don't pull random arguments out of thin air. The only good solution to that problem is not to STOP the migrants from coming here, but to GIVE them a REASON to stay in their countries. AKA not bringing death over their head with wars over petrol and such. If their countries are at peace, they won't have a reason to migrate, and only a negligible percentage of them will actually decide to try and immigrate here. Try to put yourself in their boots. You're the father of a family, war is raging in your country. You wouldn't try to find a safe place for your loved ones? What would be the safest place? A place where there's no war. How would you react if they closed the gates on your nose, or parked you in a camp with thousands of other civilians like animals? Not good I think.

There's a difference between legal immigration and illegal immigration. Illegal immigration DOES cost millions even billions. The US government wants to show amnesty to our illegal immigrants. We have immigrants that are going through the system and successfully entering the US, and we have illegal aliens that hop the border and walk right in. Then the government wants to HELP those that just hopped the border, and it costs  American taxpayers millions. Let me explain something to you: Minimum wage in the US is $7.25 an hour. Business are requ red by law to have employees make a certain amount of money, the minimum wage. A lot of illegal aliens say that they take jobs Americans won't take. No, Americans are willing to work any job that pays enough to suffice, but until those business raise their minimum wage, they'll slowly lose money because no one is working for them. Where the problem with illegal aliens comes into play is that they step up and say "Hey, you don't have to pay us $7.25 or more. We're not even supposed to be here so we'll work for $2.00 an hour". Guess what that business does? Breaks the law and hires a bunch of illegal aliens. Now what? The business is swimming in it, and the illegal alien is still broke, and the American is out of a job. The issues with illegal immigration are blatant and massive.

If it's as simple and basic as you state, then why doesn't France open its borders and announce that it will take all of the migrants? Maybe because that wouldn't be a good idea? Maybe because it would be too expensive? Maybe because it wouldn't have anywhere to store those migrants?
