Implementing all the different mods

LSPDFR only has 2 real callouts (at least only 2 that I ever see. pursuit in progress and armed suspects pursuit). It's been awhile since the last release of LSPDFR so i'm wondering, development, can you find a way to put bits and pieces of everybody elses mods into some of the next updates for LSPDFR?

Callouts, Police Radio, reticle removal (for people who want that like myself), Coroner services, barriers, etc etc. Most of these mods are already done and posted on here. You all should work together and make the invidivdual mods a huge part of the development of LSPDFR. Personally I think that would be awesome.

The ability to request fire and EMS and things like that, i'm sure those are already in development. But I trust this team to make a killer mod. You guys rock!! Been a fan of LC(S)PDFR since the GTA IV days.

They are part of LSPDFR.. all the API plugins you see integrate with LSPDFR so they work with LSPDFR. so it is one huge LSPDFR development. This is most likely the reason why that by default you have 2 callouts because the Development Team can focus less time on callouts and more time on other things (callouts are left for the community to create)

If you want to me reply as soon as possible, then either quote or @CouthInk4  me as i'll be notified, a general reply will not notify me

Why would we want to integrate them into the LSPDFR core? It gives us more work to do.

Not to mention that callout developers would no longer have control over the development and release cycle of their plugins.

Please do not PM me for any kind of technical support.
I unfortunately do not have enough free time to answer every PM that I get. For issues with my plugins, please post in the comments section of the file, or it's forum thread. You'll get a much quicker response from me there than if you send me a PM; I do my best to respond to every question in the comments sections. For API/programming questions, please post them in the API Development forum, so all developers can benefit from the answer as well. Thanks!

It's what LSPDFR should be, and since the mods are being created by others it would mean less work for you. Come on, integrating it must be easier then creating it huh?

It would just be good if they all would play nicely with eachother. As of right now some different mods counteract eachother with keys and play-ability, but they have excellent features. For one, I have many callouts installed but I stop getting callouts after 4 or 5 of them appear. Without the callouts mods they are stable. Another mod: Traffic Policer I think, where you can see a blue screen with things you can ask on the top right corner after you pull someone over. That's completely different then the standard LSPDFR pull-over menu and they both appear and both want attention.

See what I mean? It would just be awesome to put this stuff into LSPDFR so they work together in harmony. You all don't have to do it obviously, but it would make the mod more smooth.

But API callouts are simply put in alongside LSPDFR and then LSPDFR itself calls upon the code. They don't launch themselves, they are injected into LSPDFR and treated as though they are core parts of the code to an extent. They are working together in harmony already!

If LSPDFR starts implementing them into the mod, then they have to go around and physically add them in. It takes a lot longer than you think, and devs won't have access to the code to write the updates, meaning the LSPDFR devs have to go and manually update every single mod themselves for each update. It's a complete waste of time and absolutely nothing will be achieved. The end user will notice no difference whatsoever.

Unless the LSPDFR devs sit and re-write/optimise the code of the api callouts, there would be no improvement to the callouts themselves.

The whole point of an API is to allow other people to hook into the mod and add extra elements in. This feature is clearly working perfectly since we've got a ton of really sweet additions and that's the exact reason why nothing needs to be changed here.

Thank you for the clarification :) For some reason i'm having trouble with some of the callouts. Callouts stop after a little bit, i'm gonna assume that's another mod from this website that may be causing that. I'm all for community work and what they've done.

And don't take any of this as jabs to you guys. I know you probably hear this stuff all the time but i'm not a complainer. I just had a suggestion I wanted to throw out there. I'm more or less suggesting improvements for things that I made bold in my last post. I'm gonna assume that too many add-on mods CAN make the game a little bit unstable. I still can't get one or two aspects (like barriers) to work from major mods, even after checking the INI and having the correct hooks. I only download script mods from this website.
