Hello fellow developers,

welcome to our brand new LSPDFR API Development forum. Great to see you made it here!

This is the place to ask questions about working with the API, as well as requesting features. More examples and proper documentation will follow soon as we focus on the mod itself currently. If you have any feedback regarding the very early API implementation though, feel free to share.

Thanks!

Please do not PM me unless really necessary (knowing you helps). If you think you need my attention in a topic, tag me.

Please do not PM me for any kind of technical support.
I unfortunately do not have enough free time to answer every PM that I get. For issues with my plugins, please post in the comments section of the file, or it's forum thread. You'll get a much quicker response from me there than if you send me a PM; I do my best to respond to every question in the comments sections. For API/programming questions, please post them in the API Development forum, so all developers can benefit from the answer as well. Thanks!

I will like to have the option to make callouts happen only in certain areas. For example some callouts happen in the city and other in the county.

I forget what its called, but there is a function to get the "zone" for your location. You can use that, and then abort the callout if its not in the area you want.

Yeah, I think about that but the problem is that maybe the player gets annoyed if it spends much time with all callouts getting aborted.

The player will never know that the callout has been aborted. Check out the OnBeforeCalloutDisplayed() function, which returns a Boolean data type. If you return False from this function, the callout will never make it to the user.

Ive got a question that the quick start guide doesn't really answer. (New to modding but have been scritping in college for a year)

I looked at the tutorial and there is no advice on what to select on a new project? Do I load the lspdfr.dll do I start a class libary? If any one could answer that would be great :)

You need to start a new project - Visual C# Class Library under .NET 4.6 and set the solution platform to x64. Then you should add RAGE and LSPDFR as reference libraries.

If you spawn them in the air, wouldn't they just fall to the ground?
