Its too aggravating to have people like this even be allowed to comment of open forums in general. The guys are doing there best and all there is, is ungratefulness. The nerve of some people.

 

How are you able to stay on the older version?

On my computer, if GTA V hasn't connected to the internet for more then a week it will say that it needs to connect to activate. It won't let me play the game until I let it connect to the internet. I have seen some posts about GTA needing to "phone" home periodically.

Does anyone else have there game ask them to connect to the internet after it hasn't in a while or it wont let you play?

It's very annoying, every couple of times you play GTA V offline I believe you have to connect to the internet so they can make sure your copy is valid or some BS. When you do this, GTA will automatically start downloading the updates. What you do is just disconnect your computer from the internet (I disable my modem in network settings) as it starts the update process. This allows the game to validate and I restart and play the game offline for another few times without having to download the update. It's a little inconvenient but it works.

Even so, LSPDFR 0.1e is working as of right now too. I have been playing it non stop while alt-tabbing to see if its been released ytet, then I come and look and see stuff like tik tok and "impatient with you guys". Its very aggrevating and makes me want to do bad things. lol. I wish these (DISRESPECTFUL) people would do something useful like mod their own stuff on their own...Oh yea..They dont know how....

While LMS has been hard at work debugging most of our issues (both the ones caused by Rockstar's protections and ones of our own making), I've taken advantage of the extra time to add more polish to LSPDFR 0.2, and even introduce a new feature which I know will be very popular.  To complement the police computer in a vehicle, here's a sneak peek of the equivalent system on foot:

If when you are fixing that issues you are adding more features, no hurry fixing problems, we can wait to see more and more features

Exactly. People need to chill out Sam and the rest at G17 have things figured out. Its their baby, they arnt gonna put it out halfway done bug infested. Lets get real here.

This also confuses me. As small as the annoyance of not having LSPDFR while waiting for 0.1 was, this annoyance is even smaller. I mean, I get that 0.1e was unpolished, but it works fine.

i love it so far..with the stun gun zero damage mod and keep calm...things like police radio and stop sticks..its perfect for now :) Also i like playing as michael because you get the random events still so you kindof get more "callouts" stolen cars and purses etc..i even rolled up to a murder scene near chillead (the one with the breifcase)

And then there's a ton of plugins already out there if your experience gets a bit lack-luster. How some of these people waited for the GTA V PC release I have no idea.

I'm pretty sure he's a troll. Or 12. Or perhaps both, but yeah, everything he seems to say is a passive aggressive attempt to get reactions.

let's remember that LSPDFR doesn't cost a cent. They could have made us pay for it but they didn't. All these demanding comments by some people are making me lose respect for this community tbh. To the people who complain if you can't handle the delay you don't deserve to play GTA . There are bigger things to complain about. For example my brothers friend got shot and killed at the Coralville mall in Iowa. Complaining about a release delay is just childish
