  • Sam, you and the whole team are just amazing. There's no need to apologize considering how hard you all are working to fix this issue.   Great work.

Just as a quick update, we're doing our best to continue to fix things up.  The main cause of the performance issues was resolved earlier today, although there's still one problem which is resulting in script crashes.

There's a good side to this delay as well though - we've been able to polish things up somewhat and even add in some little details that weren't going to make the original release.

One step forward, one- or two-steps back, and push forward again.  It's the nature of programming and development.  No worries at all, keep up the great work, you guys are incredible!!

It's funny how Rockstar is saying that they're ok with single player mods yet it looks like they're doing whatever they can to prevent them. I did a video about this if anyone is interested. It's on my channel. Youtube.com/sheloppe just incase anyone is interested in watching. I'm also in contact with Rockstar Support trying to call them out on this issue and to get the truth out of them. Wish me luck. And I'll keep you guys updated with a new forum post when I get new info.

Yeah something was up with this thread it kept giving me errors that the post didn't publish and now its caught up it looks like lots of spam haha

According to ineseri, it's a forum glitch. I informed @Cyan about it.

This talk of Petitions, boycotts and outright fearmongering about modding is throwing my gaming senses out the window. I can't really support a community that is threatening all sorts of harm and pain on the company that brought their product in the first place. It's insanity how some people's anger can overdrive a issue.

I really need a stiff drink if stupidity arises again in the GTA community, otherwise I go in peace and head towards the sunset.

Lets be honest with each other: we could all enjoy a stiff drink anytime regardless of the circumstances.

Really looking forward to these issues getting resolved and 0.2 getting released. Until then, Ill be waiting patiently.

Just a quick question.  I know nothing about modding, but how come I am able to play 0.1e and use all my other mods with an updated Rage Plugin Hook and I see very little performance drop?  Is there something new in 0.2 that causes it?  Just curious.  Looking forward to release guys, keep us posted!

Well thats whats this is all about. To fix the issue with the latest update and the performance with LSPDFR.

The latest update is 1.0.393.2.

I am wondering if LSPDFR 0.2 will work with the previous version, 1.0.372.2.

Really exited for this.

My main question is: Will this be compatible with 1.0.372.2? There are alot of performance issues with the latest update.

Yepp. thats the best version as of now. No performance issue what i know about.

Not only with the latest mods, there are many other issues existing in version 393 such like getting stuck in ammu-nation or accidental crash of game(whether in single or multiplayer) .Hopefully modders can find a way to avoid these problems and I also really hope Rockstar could manage to improve the overall experience of the game itself.

Thank you for your effort.

yes version 393 have a lot of bug and lower fps i have downgrade to the patch 372 and it work perfect. i hope the new version of lspdfr work with this version or rockstar make a update to resolve this lower fps. I also contact rockstar ant they know the problem ...
