  • The plugin has been officially RELEASED!!! That's right, alpha version 0.2.2a is available for download! Enjoy!

Has anyone here been having a problem with falling through the ground when ending a callout? I'm not seeing anything in the logs about it. I'm still doing some digging and will report back when I get something solid. However this mod is PERFECT! Poetry in motion.

Edit: Mr. @LukeD , I'm having this problem where the End Callout UI menu rips the character from the vehicle, places them several yards away from the car, or the character falls through the ground. Falling through the ground happens rarely; however, what does happen quite often is that player's character is pulled from the vehicle. I'm seeing nothing Ragelog about this problem.

I will investigate this matter further, but please keep in mind, that I have a fairly light mod list (only a handful of plugins) that really don't conflict with each other. I've read your messages about some possible mod conflicts as well which is why I'm doing my best to see if this is just a simple matter with mods conflicting. I wish I could provide you with something more solid that can help. I just thought you might like to know.

I am so glad you've released this plugin I've been waiting on something like this for a long time. It's so nice to not be the only cop arriving to a robbery!

Try setting your end callout menu key in the .ini file to something else temporarily.

There is a hardcoded debug key which I forgot to mark as debugging only so it's present in the release builds to. That'll be what's teleporting you.

Ah, okay. Will do. Thank you for your time.

Mr. @LukeD The fix worked. Things are moving more smoothly now. Now thank you for your time and pleas know that I look forward to what your future plans are. Would you ever do something that would have the entire block get locked down. Patrol units cutting off an entire area?

Sorry too much time passed and I wasn't able to edit original message.

Glad to hear it worked.

I will be fixing the issue permanently in future releases so this won't happen again.

I will certainly look into it, although this would be quite challenging to do due to the way GTA handles things being spawned too far away/out of view of the player. But its definitely something I will look at. Thank you 🙂

Ps. I merged your two replies for you.

You are so right about that. GTA V is challenging to mod ... well challenging isn't quite the word. I mean only in GTA V can you mod the properties of a lamp's light but then blot out the sun while doing so.

So let me ask you this .. and this may be just as challenging but how about instead of locking down a block, would it be better (and hopefully easier) to have a couple of units following the player? For those situations we know something bad is going to happen. I.e we can trail a wanted driver with backup close behind and then we instate a traffic stop we have ample units already in the area just in case things go south quickly.

  • 3 weeks later...

Having constant crashes after I go on duty or go to a callout location with this mod, any idea?
Edit: Nevermind, seems to be working fine now.

  • 3 months later...

Trying to use the roadblock feature (all 3 of them) causes LSPDFR to terminate. No other plugins are installed. Is this known? Am I doing something wrong?
