ELS lights not working

Featured Replies

The ELS lights wont turn on. But the siren works. I don't know what to do to fix it. I tried turning on the lights by pressing J and 5 and nothing works.

Thank you!

I have default keys and E turns my lights on and J activates the sirens. Unless you've changed your key bindings that may work for you as well.

Make sure that the .ini(s) are set up correctly in the ELS folder.

If you are driving police1, the police.ini needs to be in the ELS folder, and the slot_control needs to say that police reads from police.ini.

Do you get that "beeplike" sound whenever you press j when in a els enabled vehicle? If not, then that means you've installed ELS incorrectly. If you can just enable the siren by pressing g without pressing j 3 times, then that also means you've installed ELS incorrectly. Check your ELS installation, make sure it is installed correctly.

Have you added any ELS enabled modded vehicles to the game? ELS won't work on default cars.
