[WIP] StraysCallouts

Featured Replies

  • Popular Post

I've recently started to work on adding more callouts to Grand Theft Auto V, for use with LSPDFR. This is where I'm at:

Edit: Some callouts were removed to prevent overlap with LukeD's CalloutsV.

Currently implemented:

  • Mugging
  • Gang Activity
  • Fight in progress
  • Reckless driver
  • Dispatch audio for callouts!
  • Fully animated vehicle repair!

Planned to be implemented (leave suggestions as a reply):

  • Suspicious Person
  • Kidnapping in progress
  • More!

Issues to overcome before release:

  • Getting a safe spawn position for callouts only likes to work in the city. Not near the desert or mountains.
  • Finish planned features.

Current testers:

  • DCP1293, the master of breaking everything, whether its possible or not.
  • TheNorthernAlex
  • Stevetrackboyz55

Leave any suggestions you have in the comments. This will probably take a while to complete, and almost just as long to test.

  • It will work just like the LCPDFR API. I hope to get it out soon.

  • What do you guys think I'm waiting on?  DAT API! :D  Callouts will be coming...

  • Are you going to be using the upcoming Callouts API from LSPDFR? :)

I had no idea an API was coming, but if there is, definitely! Thanks for informing me of this :)

Hopefully that'll take a load off my shoulder. Playing with the LCPDFR API while transferring from Java to C#, it was a great set of tools. Can't wait for the API :)

How about prowler in progress, burglary in progress, fist fight in progress and man down on the ground.   Although I guess we cant do much with peds at this time?  Just some ideas.  Looking forward to your mod.

Getting bored roleplaying?  Need ideas for calls to respond to?  Try out http://sandyshorespd.weebly.com/  Tons of role play dispatches to use your imagination on.

  • Illegal street race
  • Drug bust
  • Domestic disturbance
  • Hostage situation
  • AHomicide
  • Attempted suicide

Yeah, I'd LOVE illegal street races callouts, especially because we're playing in Los Santos this time :D

Damn, LA is known for its street racing atmosphere so hell yeah for street racing callouts!

I'm not suggesting anything because I really can't think of anything that hasn't been mentioned already.

By the way, after the new API comes out, will these callouts be inserted into LSPDFR dispatch or will they have it's own dispatch? Would be awesome if it was the same dispatch, especially because even though LSPDFR is just a beta, getting the same callouts get a bit boring :P

-Drunk driver

-Officer in trouble (something like you roll up and the officer's pinned by gunfire)

-Drive-by (get a description of the vehicle and hunt it down. A button to end the callout would be needed for this though)

-Indecent exposure (hell, the ped models are already available, why not? Just spawn an altruist cult ped and have him walk around, it would be an easy one)

but idk

LOL totally forgot, of course the drunk driver callout. That one is a MUST!

How could I forget that one lol

Now that you brought "officer in trouble", I'd suggest helping an officer at a traffic stop so "traffic stop assistance", like we arrived at the scene and there was an officer pulling over a car and we had to assist him/her in case things gone wrong, a bit like FinKone's script for LCPDFR, Backup Callout(1.0d + 1.1 LCPDFR Callout) :)

The traffic stop assistance sounds excellent, especially as there are gang neighborhoods in V where they could act negatively towards an officer pulling one of their own over. I could imagine a giant shootout going down if the guy tried to pull anything.

but idk

dangerous driving

suspicious parked driver

stolen police unit

possible drug runner

I just think theres to many gun related missions and I like just driving and picking calls like I mentioned as most of these turn into gun battles anyway.thanks and great job aswell

Yeah, imagine an officer pulling over a Ballas gang member and we had to assist him as shots were fired then lots of Ballas come to shoot at us, that would be epic!

Working on the traffic stop callout now. Also, I forgot to mention, there is dispatch audio for callouts.

Oh great!

One question: will your callouts dispatch be the LSPDFR dispatch or will your plugin have its own dispatch? It would be awesome if it was like LCPDFR 1.1 where plugins dispatches were integrated in LCPDFR dispatch itself!

Thank you a lot for making these callouts, among the 0.2 version of LSPDFR and the new API and dispatch audio files, it's gonna be awesome! :D
