I could probably write a script up fast if they don't do it. It would have to be an on cursor event. Not hard at all. Does gta 5 have german shepherds?

Yea a Sherpherd would be perfect :) that is also what we use in Denmark :)

  • Guys, come on, we all know that isn't a real countdown.  You just used a trainer for it!

  • The anticipation is killing me.  Preparations going well so far, however...

  • ... Kind of speechless that people are getting this demanding for something that is being pretty much created as a hobby result from a few very skilled coders.  We are looking at weeks, not months til

That kind of statistical statement has no base in reality at all. We tell people to buy the game and use a legal copy of the game, becuase we develop the mod for a legal copy of the game. We can't support a version of the game we're not using ourselves. Of course, it's not supported by Rockstar, but that has little meaning to us.

That would be me, and no, it wasn't in "anger" it was more of a factual statement; It is done when it's done, same as any other G17 Media product. We don't release a relase date because we don't want to disappoint people if we have to change the release date. Without releasing a release date, we're free to release it when we're confident it's finished.

Of course we are glad people are eager to use the modification, but we're not forcing anyone to use it either. The impatience is fun as long as it is encouraging, but when it goes to the point it's disrespectful we need to put an end to it. The mod is released when it's released, that's the only release-statement you'll get (for now).

We've said man a times not to ask for LSPDFR Updates, and we'll continue on this line, simply because the answer will always be the same. What've released so far is what has been said by Sam, LMS and posted on www.LSPDFR.com.

Been reading this CRAP for days now!!! FIRST... This kind of modding is not supported in any way by Rockstar.

Shocking.

SECOND... To imply that illegal or stolen copy are not supported, is already in-forced by Rockstar. There is no need to tell your followers that you don't support it.

Since people did ask, yes, there is a need to say that it is not supported.

We all know what where doing here. 91% of people using and supporting your software... Don't have a legal copy.

I agree with FtDLulz, I want to know where you got this number from.

THIRD... yesterday i saw a moderator i think write in anger.. That the mod is done when it's done the year it's done stop asking bla bla bla, not nice. You should be glad people are so eager to see your work. You have given this game a second and eternal life, the is no need to treat their impatience like that. Their the ones taking about your mod saying how great it is.

Every single time some one has asked about a release date since the very early preview days of LCPDFR in 2009, the answer to "when can we get a release" has always been "when it's done." This isn't done in anger, this is done because some people don't seem to grasp how delicate and difficult scripting is. I know for a fact Sam was close to releasing LSPDFR several times recently, but had to stop to completely rewrite code that was broken at the last minute. Lying about a release date will make people more angry at the developers, and releasing a buggy version will tarnish the reputation that was earned in LCPDFR.

That how I heard about it a few years back. A beta could have been released by now, but that's your decision.

Really now? You talk to Sam on a daily basis? You know the progress of the mod as well as him? You know for a fact that the quality standard has been met, and that Sam and LMS are screwing with the community with constant teases while hoarding LSPDFR to themselves?

And for you guys to immediately change your tones after that guy wrote "the mod is done when it's done the year it's done stop asking" is weak! You did nothing wrong. Keep asking stay anxious, if they want to release it December next year next month... we'll all be waiting right here. And if they wanna get angry and stop development... we'll remember you as one of the greatest modders all time.

So you're encouraging people to get angry because Sam wants a quality product, instead of a buggy version that will anger a lot of people?

Sticks and stones may break bones, but 5.56 fragments on impact.

As you see here, we have a statistical analysis of this here post. Take a deeper look then the obvious troll you might find something. Nope.

Everyone needs to drop it. Keeping it alive will only make it worse!

I prefer SAM doesn´t release LSPDFR yet, I can´t run Ragehook jajajajajja

No.

The site just went down and said it will be back in a minute! LSPDFR??????

Not trying to start a war here guys, holster your flame throwers. My point was... the way people where being answered to by moderators when asking certain questions. And one more thing by saying "Of course, it's not supported by Rockstar, but that has little meaning to us." ill respond using your quote "because we develop the mod for a legal copy of the game" has no meaning to me also. I have all the patience in the world for this, i can't do it my self so... i'll wait for the ones that can. I wasn't disrespectful, my point was the smart ass answers to some of the humble question asked guys. You can take all the time in the universe you want, the only one I cant wait for is Lt. Caine. I'll keep patrolling this section of this forum to point these things out.

I Think Sam failed a bit saying LSPDFR is almost imminent but we can wait, we don´t care because Sam is a script-machine and i hope LSPDFR will be released the next week ;)

*PERSONAL OPINION*

Dude, I think he would be fine doing an update. There's nothing against it. Give us your todo list if nothing so we know what's been going on.

*PERSONAL OPINION*

K9 is really easy to code, they already had a mod in gta4. It wasn't made by the same devs though. But my father was a K9 unit for 15 years and then detective and patrol for the last 5. I love the k9 idea but can't stand how unstable it was in gta4. Any update on multiplayer? What's the deal with that?

But in GTAIV dogs werent really a part of the original game. In GTA V animals are part of the game and if you remember youre able to work with a K-9 in the SP Campagne without modding. So i guess K-9 in V isnt quite comparable to K-9 in IV and will be much more stable and functional.

Definitely, it's going to be really cool. I wonder if you're going to be able to control the dog like in the sp. I wouldn't use it, but would be cool to have if someone wanted to use it.

I guess so. As far as it goes for me im very interessted to have a K-9 buddy on my virtual side. But this could be more interessting in an MP enviroment. For now thats something thats up to the future. Maybe Rockstar is going to change its policy and there is something like a dedicated server tool/version in the future. Right now im just happy to recive the first version of the mod even if im only able to play in SP. :)
