Why does this happen?

Featured Replies

This is probably is a dumb question, but when I am driving around town in LCPDFR in an ELS car, why do the red rear brake lights randomly start flashing/blinking? Am I pressing a button by mistake? All I found that fixes it is getting a new car.

Thanks.

press "U" twice to turn the indicators off, also depending on the vehicle you use some vehicles have strobes in the tail lights that tend's to happen when you change light modes with "I" or "U" or when using your turn signal and turn your primary light's on it turn's your 4 ways on, if your not using indicator mod then just press "U" twice should turn them off

when you accept a callout you press [Y]. With ELS those are the warning lights. Try pressing Alt + Y

Nah, I think it's Y. When you press Y to respond to a call out. You turn on the flashers/indicators, depending on where you live. You can turn them off again by pressing ALT+Y or change the keys in the.ini file.

I am still puzzled as to why they turn on in the first place, but ALT-Y does seem to turn them off. "Y" alone will not turn them on. It is bizarre, as I never press ALT-Y to turn them on in the first place. Problem Solved!

Disable the key for hazard lights in the ini file. This will fix the problem.

Do I just set it to "0" ?
