  • I hope you're joking. "So many people on here want a mod to put it back to the handling we got in GTA IV." Yeah, because obviously GTA IV's is the realistic one. Look like at it this way. GTA IV wa

The cars in V feel like they have little to no weight to me, which isn't necessarily a bad thing but it's certainly a change from IV where the cars actually felt heavy.

Personally I think GTA V's handling is too arcadey.  Acceleration seems unrealistic and turning is way too nimble, I prefer IV's driving system.  It's your preference.

I liked the damage the cars got in GTA IV. That's about it. I was hoping in GTA V it would be the same or even better. I don't think it's even possible to edit the handling to be the same as in IV.

I too miss the "softer" physics of the cars, crushing them into a chunk of metal was so nice looking. As for the handling, slightly tweaking IV's was still way better than V. The cars in IV were more slippery and realistic compared to in V where its almost like theres a drivers-assist, keeping you on track, unless you count driving at high speeds and spinning out. It's hard to explain really, IV just has this feel that V doesn't, and i think it feels better to drive with.

Cop cars also accelerate at ridiculous god damn speeds, opposed to IV where they could be kept a little ways behind, now they are automatically faster than your car and ram up to your bumper, usually knocking you to the side. I feel like rockstar babied all the people who couldn't drive, I'm sure there was many complaints from GTA IV's handling
