You know, Law and Order all of 'em not Just SVU.. Chicago PD and Fire.. I know they can be fictionalized, but only things I can watch on TV anymore... Besides Top gear (UK).. Bu that's a Different topic.

I never read my police handbook.

I wouldn't say that I'm his biggest fan, but I remember he also worked on some Miami Vice   and Hill Street Blues episodes. Both were very good tv shows back in the 80's. Law and Order is a very good show also. some of my family members were addicted to it. when a Law and order marathon was on and the theme song was playing, they all rushed in the room like they were being chased by the police.

The only shows i've seen is Law and Order SVU (both my parents and my sister watches it), and from my thoughts on SVU i think he knows what he is doing. Most police shows are way over the top and they do things most cops don't do... Like for example CSI:Las Vegas, Real life CSI doesn't do half of what they do on the show.. they don't interrogate suspects, they're not expets in all the fields.. and it certainly doesn't take 5 minutes for a DNA match to come back. But with SVU they have actually made it realistic.

I think they're the only police show that has actually potrayed a division realistically.

All the Law and Order stuff is really well done with very good acting and sets.  Most, if not all the stories are loosely based on real life events that were fairly current events at the time the production started on the particular episode.

It pulls you in really quick if you're not careful!  Before you know it you're on the 7th episode when one of those marathons hit.

Good day,
