More than one Citation

Featured Replies

Hello everyone!

Recently I was playing LCPDFR and I pulled over a car for running a red light. He also had major rear damage and no rear lights (at night as well). It would be cool if we could give multiple citations for things like this. I think it could work like this:

You go through your standard options - Choose reason - Check ID -

When it comes to the menu of wether you want to give a warning, citation etc. There should be one for "Give multiple citations"

It should then take you to another menu: F9=2 citations | F10=3 citations F11=Cancel (incase you want to release the suspect instead)

It will then take you on to the option for how much the citation will be. The first being for citation 1, second for 2 and so on. (so you don't have to charge the same amount for each citation)

Also I think the prices should be raised to something more realistic:

$50

$100

$200

I don't know if this has been suggested before but it would be cool to see in a future update or maybe SAPDFR for GTA V :D

Thanks :)

Cool idea but as far as realistic prices that is very subjective. I know in Florida the last fine schedule had citations that were only $20-$50. If you got a $200 citation then you did something pretty serious. I think speeding citations were about $130 if I remember correctly.

Thanks. Well citations must be very different over in the US because here in Sydney, Australia it's something like close to $400* for talking on the phone and driving! Yet still 1 in 3 drivers are either texting or talking at traffic lights or traffic jams...

*In a school zone. If in normal roads its $300

What I usually do is, make them exit their vehicle, and then I keep giving them citations. Usually I give multiple citations to people who run red lights without their driver's license.

Anyway I do agree prices should be raised since even travelling in the HOV lane in Cali gets you almost 500 dollars in fine.

What I'd like to see is being able to write a citation, where you can state what you're giving the citation for, and also the amount of money.

You can actually push that Citation amount button (F9, F10) up to three times (as I tested, any more than that most of the times caused problems). I have given people $300 dollar tickets at their window. Push the button, wait for him to start his ticket animation then push it again.

As some others have stated, its not typically the ticket prices that get you. Its the court fees.

Now that I live in Germany the tickets are even cheaper. If you get a ticket from one of the speed cameras it is like 15 euro for the first offense.

I think that with this, there should be a few set fines and then an option to set a price. In addition to this, someone could actually create a booklet or something of some set fines for different offenses.

In addition, something cool that if more updates were to come to FR is the license point system where when you look someone up, it will show how many points that they have on their license.

I agree with this. Except with me, i always forget what i pulled them over for after i get out of the car. So it usually ends in a beating.

Everywhere is different.

As others have said, my local Sheriff's Office doesn't set the fines because that's all determined by the courts. We also don't issue multiple citations, but rather 1 citation with multiple charges on it.

It would likely be difficult for the LCPDFR team to program the script to account for the hundreds of different ways these things are done in the real world to make everyone happy, so they have to do the best they can and come up with something relatively generic.
