Depends how this next round of testing goes.  I had it polished well, then I decided I wanted to supplement the current spawn system with a secondary system (in case the first fails), and now its just bringing it back up to good running standard to make sure both these things work well together.

 

Beta?  Maybe a week or so.  Problem is, I keep wanting to just add more and more stuff, and more and more detail... ;D

Ramming the primary unit sounds (backing up) before fleeing sounds interesting.  I could make the primary units engine take a good bit of damage to the point that it no longer runs and puts him out of the chase off the bat (if he doesn't have a ram-bar on his car, which I can see now will conflict with OTHER peoples games, for example... if police doesn't have a ram bar in my game, and I decide "if police car, damage engine" while police 2 has one in my game, "if polce2, ram and flee, leave engine alone", problem becomes if in your game, you have police1 with a ram bar, and police 2 with a ram bar, or none, or both... if you catch me drift)... or I could have him simply back up and just damage the car and flee in his car.

 

Why not if it's a thing that people have to add, Being able to set it in the .ini of whether or not a car (I.E, Police) uses a ram bar? and with a say 60-40% chance it will fail/succeed.

I'd rather take my time making something, make it good, and release it with fewer issues, rather then trying to sift past PM's and massive amounts of posts all stating something I just simply over-looked.  Thats why I'm doing a small group testing to get these issues out of the way.

i put it in the plugin folder how do i activate it? or am i a dits lol

If you want to check it out you can use startcallout backup once on duty in the ~ command window.  I wouldn't recommend spamming it, the reason you want to let it call itself is because it looks for a suitable spawn prior to calling, rather then being forced to call - if that makes sense.  Its ok to force it in my dev build of it because it was built for testing, and short range vehicle grabs, the one you have however is built for the API to use if that makes sense.

 

Use startcallout backup at your own risk. ;)  Just let it come on its own and it'll be more rewarding.

The next update is going to combat the disregards, I've already gotten it so I can't get a single disregard.  This is why testing with a larger group is good.  I myself haven't gotten a crash in awhile, so if you are crashing (not just script error, but a crash to desktop) please post what leads up to it.

Im not sure if someone mentioned already, but maybe this could be added to this script or it might have to be whole new thing but im gonna throw the idea out ther of having someone come do this for you on the players stop. Even if the guy isnt wanted, just having a second car pull up behind you on a stop incase things go south could be an awesome feature to add, and this looks like the closest to it so far! But what you have done so far is awesome so keep it up!

thats not something he can fix... you can force the callout tho: just open the command thing (idk the real name XD) and type "startcallout backup", that should trigger the callout

Yea the new version will address this.  The problem with the current one is, say the call finally comes up, and if it decides it cannot find a good spawn location, it will abort without showing the users, in order to avoid a frustrating "disregard".

No one has, and the idea crossed my head... the only issue is, needing a backup car is a rather dynamic situation.  I need the AI to behave, and drive to a specific spot... in a calm manner... PTSD from paramedics... I'm gonna look into it once this things more stable and enjoyable - but for now...

Just uploaded 1.09 - for those that don't track the OP.

 

Its focus was to get those that are having issues with the event spawning, to get spawns.  I did very little changes to the events or the out comes.  Sometimes crashes happen if you are aiming at the ped, and hes transitioning from my script to LCPDFR ownership.  This will get correct in the near future, if the spawning system update goes well.

I'll keep adding to it.  I want to also see if I can make it so YOU can call for backup.. but that will be tricky with... crazy AI.

 

Have to tie up a few loose ends on things not getting deleted, a bit more protection for the players, and hunt down a few crashes caused when the criminal is handed to LCPDFR, add more spawns (to cover the entire map), and then I'm going to start adding more content to it.
