Hey guys! I am now making YouTuve videos, and I record in Fraps and like for 6 parts its like 20GBs. Do you guys know how to compress? Thanks! :)

If you open it in windows live movie maker and then save as a WMV and select high quality when saving it will usually keep a high quality whilst compressing. Or use VirtualDub

Is there anything I can do in Camtasia?

Import into Sony Vegas and render as Sony AVC MP4. Or you could just compress them with any program into xvid avi (god I love this codec).

Premier does the job,too.MOV and AVI are lossless (mov with sorenson compressor-3 is appropriate) but they are big in size as well.I'd have recommended mp4 but if its for youtube,I'd recommend FLV,like Firstyminator.Its best for uploading on Youtube.

Free advice: Don't use fraps for recording videos.Its best for screenshots only.Try WeGame for vids.

And you can use Adobe Premiere, and compress to Flash movie.. Works well :) and gets the file down!

Adobe Premiere would be a good source! :D

I've tried WeGame for recording. It is good for recording, but the only problem is that the free version only lets you record in half resolution, which for some who play on 720p monitors (or me, who plays on a 1440X900 monitor), it will prevent them from recording HD video. If you have a high resolution monitor, though (>1680X1050), than it is great for recording 720P videos in fairly small file sizes.

Oh =(

Actually mine is 1600X900.

You may be able to get 720p video out of your monitor. The only way to be sure of that is to just try a test video. If you find it does not work, you can always uninstall the application.
