Did you use the troubleshooter correctly? If you had done, you should have come across this page. It asks you to install two things (the first two links). Please try installing them and then report back. On a brighter side, you read the stickies, so that makes me proud of you and restores some faith in the visitors of this forum.

Go into your programs. Find "Microsoft .net Framework 4 Extended"

If this isn't there, or you only have the client version. Download and install this as you have the wrong version.

http://www.microsoft...s.aspx?id=17851

When you open that up, it should also say Framework (Standalone) Version. That is the version you want to have. it is the full profile which is required for LCPDFR to continue it's installation. The Client won't do you any good. :happy:

I am showing to have "Microsoft. NET Framwork 4 Extended", "Microsoft Visual C++2010 x86 Redistributable - 10.0.40219", and

"Microsoft Visual C++2010 x64 Redistributable - 10.0.30319"

It is possible that it shows you have NET Framework 4 Extended even though you don't have the extended version - This is a known case. Just do what I'm saying and download and install it from the provided link again to be sure.

Go into your GTA root directory, typically "C:Program FilesRockstar GamesGrand theft auto IV"

Look for both "DSOUND.dll" and/or "XLIVE.dll". Is there both? If so remove one of them, doesn't matter which.
