Bxbugs123 Dev stuff

So I noticed Bxbugs unlocked CVPI and Silverado got put back up on GPM but in the textures there are no vehicle spec maps. How do I acquire these? I'm completely new to the making vehicle concept and trying to find unlocked models with all the right parts is like trying to win the lotto.

Also some unlocked models only come with the police.wft file but no police.wtd, how are you supposed to make a vehicle without the .wtd?

Thanks but that really doesn't help me at all

well it should help you i suppose you're NEW new to this, there's a WTD, in the vehicles.img named Vehshare.wtd in said wtd, you will find all of the textures you need including Spec maps

Ah thank you and yeah I only started less than a week ago.

Thanks!

This is what happens when I import your CVPI into zmod...

There is nothing wrong, just the texture on the CVPI is transparent. Replace it with any other random (fitting) CVPI Texture and it will be fine.

There nothing wrong with his stuff, i suggest you watch some video's or get some help from someone.

I never said there was anything wrong with his stuff, I simply said this was what happened when I imported his CVPI. And that is what this thread was made for, getting help from someone.

You seem to have been helped with the first question but your second one about a lack of a "police.wtd". The WTD contains all the textures to be used on the car with the exception of the vehshare textures. Those DO NOT have to be added to the WTD since they are already located elsewhere within the IV directory. The WTD you make yourself, thats why some unlocked cars don't include one. Lets say your replacing your created car in the noose spot, the WFT model gets exported as noose.wft and you import it as such. Then open the noose.wtd and erase all the texture files inside. After that you can import all your textures you used on the car, ALL of them otherwise you'll have white parts in the game. like I said before though, its not necessary to put the vehshare textures in the WTD. Oh and backup your noose.wft and noose.wtd prior to importing over top of them

Thank you very much, that is extremely helpful!
