If you've got Netflix, here's a whole series: Flashpoint. It's based about a team by the name S.R.U., which is the Canadian SWAT pretty much. I think that this series was really well produced, about 12 episodes per season, and 5 seasons. Each episode is about 45 minutes long.

I currently watch Criminal Minds. I used to watch the Hawaii Five-0 remake but it's often over the top.

Oh, and give The Mentalist a try, it's not quite your classic cop show but it's sure entertaining :D

EDIT: Ooops, I somehow read shows instead of movies, my bad

Third Watch is a good cop TV series.

Third watch was the best!

I'm currently addicted to the Bridge there are two versions american and Danish, its a really good show.

Being someone who has spent time in law enforcement I find it hard to watch most cop TV shows or movies because I find myself always criticizing the way things are done even if I know it is only a movie (I turned off End of Watch after the first 5 mins because it was too ridiculously unrealistic and makes police look bad in my opinion). One of the few series I was able to watch though is The Wire. It is an HBO series and I found it to be really well done and such a good series, not saying it is 100% realistic but it is still really good.

Someone mentioned 44 Minutes which I have seen and it is alright, I didn't find it very interesting probably because I already knew the storyline and how it would end. My all time favorite police movie is Super Troopers but I don't think you are looking for a comedy.

Robo cop, us marshals and heat. And let's not forget the original law and order. I just thought of it, law and order uk, I've noticed I don't see many fans of that show.

End of watch wasn't too bad, but like someone pointed out, it give off a bad vibe about police. Law and Order (I prefer SVU with Det. Stabler. Who doesn't wanna see a kiddie rapist get thrown into a vending machine?). Also, Lie to Me isn't bad. It's not about cops, but the cases they solve usually involve law enforcement. Plus it is all based on real science. Think of it as like Sherlock Holmes of your face and micro-expressions.

At least Munch still comes in occasionally. I just miss Stabler. He channels the inner rage I feel when they confront a kiddie rapist or child pornographer. He brought that real life explosive anger than about everyone is bound to feel. Plus he's just a badass.  :teehee: I rarely watch the newer seasons.
