Lately when I brush my teeth, my teeth start bleeding, what should I do?

Floss. Your gums have weakened from not flossing.

^This.

It's a gum related problem, usually caused by lack of brushing/flossing. Clean your teeth more often and after a while they should stop bleeding. If not, see a dentist.

In all seriousness, bleeding gums is normal. It shows your gums are in poor health and as stated above I highly recommend you start flossing as well as deliberately brushing your gums with your tooth brush. Gums are just like muscles, and if you want them to be stronger you need to break them down and build them back up. Brushing your gums does just that.

This site has turned into some weird shit.. don't you go to a dentist for that?

On a side note, I haven't been to the dentist in years, my teeth minus a few cavities, are in good shape, however, when I was younger I smacked my front teeth on a teeder todder & the dentist pushed the tooth that was falling out back into my gums.. leaving 1 front tooth longer.. not by much, but still noticeable.

Did I mention you should go to the dentist before consulting a modding site for your dental needs?

I go to the dentist every 6 months, I asked that question because for one, it saves me a trip to the dentist and two there's no rule here saying i can't post this.

If your gums are bleeding then you have Gingivitis.Keep brushing twice a day and using mouth wash and it should stop.If it persist then go see your dentist.I have had that happen to me before.I just never missed a brush for a few weeks and started using Listerine and that fixed it.I personally don`t floss.Unless i have something stuck in my teeth. And my teeth still look great.

Here's a small portion I've taken directly off of a Bing search.

Rinsing blood out of your toothbrush can be pretty disconcerting. Unless you have a cut in your mouth, it's likely that your gums are the source of the blood. There are many things that can cause your gums to bleed:

  • Simply brushing too hard with a firm toothbrush
  • Pregnancy hormones
  • Flossing too aggressively
  • Brushing with a canker or ulcer

We all know that swollen, sore gums are not only a painful nuisance, but they could be a sign that something more serious is going on. The most common culprit is inadequate oral care leading to a buildup of bacteria and eventually plaque and then tartar. What follows tartar buildup is gingivitis, a condition in which your gums become swollen and inflamed. When your gums are in this condition, brushing could lead to bleeding. If this continues, it can lead to an even more serious condition called periodontitis, or gum disease.

Gum disease is a serious thing, but it can be treated if you catch it in time and step up your oral hygiene. Bleeding gums can also be the sign of much more dire conditions like leukemia and scurvy. Fortunately, this is much less common. If you find that your gums are bleeding when you brush, make a dental appointment immediately to find out the cause.

Dont scrub the shit out of your gums though. Gently do it. And make sure you brush where the gums end and where the teeth start really good.

Your teeth bleed? you might want to get that checked... teeth don't bleed, however teeth have nerves and pulps to them which can bleed if the tooth takes a large amount of trauma... in all seriousness though you are probably showing signs of gingivitis if the bleeding is on a regular basis.... simply floss in-between each tooth after eating and brush morning and night.

While gently caressing your gums in a semi-sexual manner may help as according to treyjames suggested, I've always found that chewing on small gravel is a fantastic way to strengthen your gums. As time goes on, you slowly increase the size of the gravel. Eventually you can start eating boulders for dinner. Cooking them in a little lemon juice and pepper usually makes it taste good. Eventually you can get a job as a drill for the government and you can go outside, live your life, and stop getting fucking medical advice from a forum for modding.

I don't really understand your comment, I just asked for a little help with my teeth and I don't always post questions like this so what's your problem oh and don't suggest jobs like working as a drill for the government, that's not the job I'm going to be working in later life.

Definitely the most plausible cause here.

First of all, I'm a male you fool, how is it I can be pregnant when clearly I don't have the organs in order to do that. :{
