Callout Idea: Traffic stop, shots fired.

We've all been there where we've been shot during a traffic stop while walking up to the window. How about a call where we respond to an incident like this?

We could get a rare callout of "Shots fired at an officer." When we arrive at the scene, we would see the police vehicle with the AI officer lying on the ground (dead or injured) with the yellow circle to search the area for the matching vehicle.

Just something for your consideration for a callout in a future release (or for other callout modders). I think it would be interesting to have.

Maybe as a variation, the suspect might run on foot or try and ambush you and other responding officers

If the AI from the cops is brainfucked, the suspects can ambush them easily without a new callout. I responded to a drug deal with 3 people. One got shot instantly, one was in cover behind a corner and one surrendered. EVERY cop tried to arrest the surrendering one (NOoSE, fat cops, normal ones, ...). When he put the hands up, the guy from the corner showed himself and killed one cop after the other with his UZI like this: One cop walked up to the guy who surrendered, got shot, next one -> down, next 2 cops -> down and so on. Called a bunch of backup, everyone got shot.  Sorry for shitty grammar if you didn't understand anything. ^^

^ I bet that would've been funny to watch, lol.

@OP: That's a pretty neat idea. Especially the searching part.

Seems like a nice idea.

The only issue with the yellow circle is that, you can't really limit an AI driver to an area so the yellow circle would have to be huge, and having a small one track the suspect every few seconds is the same as having a red blip above their car. But, I think I might be able to make a work around where the player really has to do some searching. ;)

I use your Callouts+ script so, as a dev, you know the mechanics better than I. I was thinking of the yellow blip in "Wouters Callouts" that expands as the AI drives beyond the parameters (Such as the Fuel theft callout and the Indecent Exposure callout). But this would be a call that I would definitely like to see in Callouts+ for sure.

I'd love to see a search go out for the suspect, as well a possible assistance searching from AI units having a realistic officer down scenario where huge amounts of police are converging on the area.

This video seems exactly like the callout everyone is talking about
