Watch_Dogs - Truly Next Generation AI

Featured Replies

I mean, don't judge the game on the video. Don't get me wrong, this is fucking sad for a "next gen", triple A, title... but minus all the bullshit, it's still a good game.

The new spin on the sandbox genera is pretty cool, but the game doesn't live up to the hype that Ubisoft built up. Decent enough game to get me to log 100+ hours into it.

I definitely recommend getting it during a sale if you want to get, I wouldn't get it at its current price to be honest.

to be honest the AI cops on watch dogs seem bit better and i'll take the watch dogs cops from GTA V cops and there rubberband BS, thats my opinion but yeah after doing everything on the game its just gets boring and mostly sell it.

Cops in Watch_Dogs rubberband perhaps even more than those in V.  Honestly the rubberbanding is needed up to a point - without it you get what we have in GTA IV, cops that just can't get through traffic or keep up with anyone going remotely fast.

Basically what Custo said. It's a good game just really not what Ubisoft tried to make it out to be.

They can get through traffic in GTA IV if they have space, and even when it's crowded sometimes. Usually when it's crowded it gets hard for them but at least they try and sometimes succeed - without cheating. If R* would have given them the ability to detect certain objects in front of them (trees and what not) they'd be probably even slightly better, and if they would take into account traffic cars coming up and maybe slow down. I don't know about you, but I prefer not to get speed-boosted into, constantly.

Not entirely. They're pretty good to an extent when in cars but they strictly follow navigations paths and rarely, if ever go outside of it to chase you unless on foot or if something else happens like they crash and end up off it. Then you got crap like the stuff on the video. Besides, these cops don't even engage criminals in the city, should they witness a homicide or something in front of them. Only if it's the player, will they react.

If you're implying the rubberband when it comes to chases that's is fine!, but am not going to tolerate rubberband ramming which realistically they don't do that in watch dogs though the cops are in your tail the whole time and that's when you don't hack the city, I actually had a better police chase experience with the watch dogs cops then GTA V in my opinion.
