How do you donate?

Featured Replies

I'm not aware of anything set up but obviously running a site like this does cost someone real money.

Unless someone knows of a system in place the only people who can advise are the devs.

Also no matter what anyone says to you in a private message or anything like that untill official I would advise not sending anything to anyone untill Sam or Jay or a Moderator speaks on the matter. ;)

Good idea though. Wish I was in a financial position to give something back and help out. Maybe in time :)

PS: There are other Devs as well as Sam and Jay, it's just thay are the most high profile. And I hesitate to name anyone else for fear of missing someone out who put's in hard work too.

Real shame R* don't have a sponser scheme but that could be a minefield I guess and also could cause G17 to loose it's apperance of being independant.

Edit: Interference seems to have found an answer :)

At the moment, we aren't taking donations. However, if enough people are feeling generous enough to donate, then we could set up a system :)

"You tell me exactly what you want, and I will very carefully explain to you why it cannot be."

Set up a LCPDFR paypal account where people could donate. If I were developers and knew the community wanted to donate to help further help us I would have done so already.

Heck, I'd give $$$ too. Once I get this to work.

Visit me on youtube. The most common reason for crashing is user error. Make sure you have the latest RAGE, ScripthookV, ScripthookVdotnet and turn off your antivirus. Make sure you have an up to date gameconfig.xml as well. Use Allbo's plugin troubleshooter to find any errors too.

At the moment myself and Sam are not currently taking donations. This may change when 0.95 is released.

Currently server costs are funded out my own pocket, but I can afford them at the moment, so donations are not required on this front. This may change in the future.

LMS does however take donations, and I do recommend donating to him. He has been responsible for a lot of work on LCPDFR's internal engine and has contributed a lot to the project. You can donate to him here: https://www.paypal.com/cgi-bin/webscr?cmd=_s-xclick&hosted_button_id=UKW3HWHZE2BLW

Sent $20, planning to donate more. Keep up the good work.

As you can see by the thread, I think if you set it up you'd get quite a few donations, even if most people aren't vocal about them.
