Hello everyone!

 

I am new to the LCPDFR community but am wanting to become active in it. I currently do not have a computer that will support GTA IV and LCPDFR, but I am looking to buy one soon. I need help deciding which computer would be best to run these programs and decided to ask you guys. Will this computer run GTA IV and LCPDFR smoothly? If not are there any other computers you guys reccomend?

It has no graphics card. It may run it in theory, but not well. Most folks would recommend building your own, and upping the budget by about $300 minimum.

I'm pretty sure you could build a better computer for that amount of money

I do not recommend going for HP's. They're typically slow, please don't.

It says it has a Radeon HD 8570D? I'm guessing you mean its not good at all?

Well, you could always find a website online that builds them for you, thats what I did with mine

This isn't a PC made for gaming. Whilst it has high RAM, the other specs are poor (for gaming). The AMD Radeon HD 8570D is roughly as good to say, a Geforce 220? Something around that mark, so again, for gaming, it is pretty darn poor. 

 

Like the others have said, build your own and try to raise the budget a couple hundred dollars.

 

Before you go spending bucks, do some research on the internet via reviews and forums! There's not much worse then spending bloody $800 on a PC or more and finding it's pretty average.

That's the onboard graphics built into the processor. AMD make "APUs" not CPUs. An Accelerated Processing Unit has a GPU chip built onto the CPU die, but has no dedicated memory of its own and is missing a lot of components that make it an actual graphics card.

Why do you think the CPU chip has such a tiny place on the motherboard while the slots for graphics cards have lots of free space around them?
