So here are some of the issues I'm having with the mod.

Don't get me wrong it is absolutely GENIUS! But every time I attempt to press C I have the police on me which can simply be solved by putting never wanted on in the trainer but there's another problem. When I press enter to go and play as a firefighter (after I've pressed C) I end up crashing and getting an out of video memory error, I have a 2GB dedicated graphics card Intel i5 and 12 GB of RAM and I also get the GTA IV something about a resource and a please reinstall your game error. I can always play as a paramedic that always seems to work perfectly but as a firefighter, it doesn't work. And even if I am in route to a fire station and I go inside I get the loading screen forever until my game crashes. If there is a way to fix this please do tell because I would like to make videos on this soon and with the mod crashing so much, as of now, I'm not sure I'll get to that.

* worked great yesterday, today i cannot seem to get any calls. ill try the f7 but i go on duty and nothing happens. i drive around the city for 45 min lol. or chill at the fire house

 

i dont know how to turn on the extinguisher -( middle mouse ? ) laptop does not have a mouse .....pls help

Yeah it did the same. I changed some of the key bindings and it didn't crash me anymore but now when I press C to play as the Fire Fighter and I press ENTER it turns my character invisible inside the firetruck and I can't enable any call-outs. And when I get to the fire station and walk in the red arrow, I don't turn into a fire fighter and it doesn't say I'm on duty and yet again, I'm not able to enable call-outs.

I got the same problem, invisible character, no call-outs.....

You might not be getting callouts because the default value in the ini for the maximum time between calls is 5000 seconds, the equivalent of 83.3 minutes. Change it to a lower number and you should get callouts more often. Also make sure you are not busy, which is toggled with F7.

I'm glad it's not just me. I am rather irritated at the fact that this mod works well for some and it baffles me because I am wondering constantly, what am I doing wrong because I'm using the tutorial!!!!

Ok Im having way too many issues with this mod. I remapped all the keys . I have all the vanilla cars  Ive also followed all the directions from gangrenn.  Im constantly getting error in script fire.fire.  Scripthook reports it to always be null reference exception .Ive tried all the fixes.  It is very unstable and ive had lots of errors . This mod is great gangrenn and needs to be polished because you put a lot of hard work into this and people love it including myself. One more thing is it necessary to LCPDFR installed I wasnt clear on that ?

Make sure you put fire.ini and fire.net.dll in your scripts folder.

 

I put both in there when I installed it. It's still not working.

 

I get this in my scripts log:

- Like I said, both files are in there. Is there any files that I should have like script loaders or anything? It usually crashes when I go to get in my vehicle and I press F, then I get the error.

Have you tried re-mapping the button?

 

EDIT: Nevermind, just realized you cannot re-map that control...........

Is it possible to change a numpad option in the script to a a simple key. I don't have numpad on my laptop

Hi, 

I just tried the mod. It´s great ! I haven´t experienced single crash, so stability is great for me ... But I got some problems ...

 

I always receive only one callout - Medical run ... I play as a firefighter, and it´s all about medical runs, nothing else ...

 

Plus I have a problem with stretcher - I call EMS, they´re treating the guy, I´m going for a stretcher to theirs ambulance, press T, I got a stretcher, than I press middle mouse button to put the guy on the stretcher, but when I go to the ambulance there´s no way how to put the guy in the ambulance ... I press T, nothing happens ... and I cannot even leave the stretcher anymore, it´s still with me :/ 

 

and when I tried to use vdhpolicehelper´s EMS instead of one´s that mod includes it wrote No need to send EMS eventhough the guy was still lying on the ground :/

 

Any advise would be helpful, thanks in advance and have a nice day :)

Do you have modded vehicles? If so then remove all of them and use the original Gta vehicle files. And only use 2 vehicles a firetruck of your choice and a paramedic vehicle. It should work fine after that. Also don't forget to let the mod load the peds, and vehicle models.
