LCPDFR isn't moving or closing down in the near future, there has not even been an announcement for LSPDFR (or whatever it might be called).

one word.....

now Rockstar, all we need now is a HD port of Bully, The Warriors and Red Dead Redemption.

 

WOOOOT!  LSPD:FR here we come! hopefully in the future.

I can't sleep at later night about thinking of the possibilities of LSPD:FR! (If there was in the future) 

k-9 units, smart roadblocks, spikestrips (from a mission, JB700's spikes), using flashlights for searching, Intelligent AI, real LSPD Station interior to go on duty, Big and adventurous map to patrol, park rangers, tasers! etc.

 

Since LSPD's "Obey and Survive", they won't give any chance on suspects to be arrested, instead they will kill em all!

I think it will be a decent port. I bet they have 2 teams, one on GTA:O and Consoles, one on PC. Then they will not be under so much pressure. But i bet they have been working on a port for like six months now, so it will be good.

Just as a comparison, can you run MP3 on a ATI HD5570 and 6 gb RAM?

you do realize you have to wait and see if gta 5 is gonna be even moddable in the 1st place ,  then if it is,  it'll likely take my guess anywhere where  from 9 to 12 month's + to write and make LSPDFR 

 

 

don't get me wrong i'm exicted to as in real life gonna be cop for 3-5 year's east coast then transfer out to LAPD/LASD,   but let's not get our hopes up until gta5 is out on pc and when see what its all about 1st etc.

 

and why would LCPDFR stop, there will be still plenty of people playing it like some people play lcpdfr 1.0 while some play lcpdfr .095

I know I know and I develop mods for GTA IV myself. I depend on a .net scripthook and I'm not even sure there will ever be one but please don't destroy my dream prematurely. ;)

Oh and btw: I think Rockstar knows very well about how mods like LCPDFR vastly increased the popularity of GTA IV. It would be no smart move of them to NOT make it moddable (is that even a word?).

And we had reason not to believe it. We would have if you provided proof from R* that it was. But when you just say "hey guys its coming for pc", we're not going to believe it because you're not a credible source inside R*.

The needle made me wonder why they weren't able to make the cockpit view in Watch Dogs a bit better

Im so glad GTA V is coming to Next Gen and PC

I'm very glad that it has been finally announced, although many people had no doubt it would come out on PC, I was actually starting to lose faith a little. I'm hoping they follow suit with other companies and allow you to upgrade your current gen version to next gen version for a reasonable price. :)

99% sure that wont happen because the only reason they waited to release a port is to make more money off the people who buy it twice.

I wonder how will modding works since rockstar is taking GTA online hacking and other stuff seriously, hopefully it can be moddable

Exciting Stuff it will be interesting to see how this all pans out. I solely bought GTA IV for LCPDFR, GTA V is awesome no doubt but without modding whats the purpose of having it on PC?
