No, I don't understand how the Krispy Kreme doughnuts truck has anything to do with the joke. I understand the stereotype of all cops liking doughnuts. I just don't get this joke. Maybe it's because It's not funny to me, who knows. No sarcasm intended, I just really don't get it.

Well...if you are a police officer, possibly working a night shift, you can't get donuts because the truck doesn't store them.
