Teacher (self-defense)

Featured Replies

So just last friday at nimitz high school, a student got his cell phone taken from a substitute teacher because the rules state that a student cannot have his/her cellphone during school time, after the cellphone was taken the student got up from his chair and push the teacher three times until she fell to the floor, she is expected to recover from her injuries, so here's my question should a teacher be allowed to defend him/herself in certain stuiations, In my opioion i think all teachers should be allowed to carry peeper spray with them and use it when nesscary. But tell me what do you guys think?

Oh yeah, personal defense should never be an issue, no matter where it is or what is happening. Self defense is just a matter of keeping yourself comfortable and safe if someone else is trying to do something.

Any person is supposed to have self-defense if they're being pushed around, especially if it's someone younger.

that kid who shoved the teacher who else?

Okay. You just contradicted yourself then, you say he looks like an animal (Which I guess you're saying he's big and strong), and then you say he's a coward, which is he?

animals can also be big and stupid and aggressive that's what I meant

"big" and "aggressive" are my keywords there, they mean the opposite of coward. You still contradicted yourself, i'm just pointing out that you used the wrong wording there.

Yup, everyone has the right to defend themselves, teacher, civilian, doctor or whatever they maybe, if someone lays a hand on you and you feel threatened by right and law you can strike back and defend yourself.

however most teachers don't like to hit back because they're just kids and they don't like violence

If you want to me reply as soon as possible, then either quote or @CouthInk4  me as i'll be notified, a general reply will not notify me

I know alot of teachers in my school that train for very physical sports (ie. MMA), coming in limping, black eyes some days and barley being able to sit some other days! Ahah but i get your point man they shouldn't be seen as promoters of violence but thought I should just say lol.
