Well Walmart has came out with a "new and improved" 18 wheeler. I personally think the truck is VERY ugly (the outside at least). What do you guys think?

Its not about looks, its about fuel costs and safety cost. I think it looks kind of cool actually...

It's streamlined to Hell and back, that's for sure.

Edit: The WalMart truck's cab extends too close to the fifth wheel; it's gonna jackknife bad if the drivers aren't careful.

I can't even believe Peterbilt would make something like that... It is nice on the inside, though.

Walmart ships a LOT of things; small fuel savings add up fast when you ship so much.

"Save money, live better!" But yeah, this thing is hideous, I like the current vehicles that they use.

I honestly don't care, but I think that the old ones looked better, walmart can do whatever they want for all I care.

I don't think these trucks will lower food prices. In fact I think food price will rise more. Walmart is all for making money.

 

It looked like someone drove a 18-wheeler into the back of a supercar, and just welded them together.

Both of them suck. Ugly exterior, dull interior. I thought it wasn't possible to surpass Nissan NV200 hideousness.

 

For some reason, the Wallmart truck (btw, how come that for saving money Wallmart instead of giving their workers a rice bowl as salary desing trucks now?) sorta reminds me to the Soviet Maz 2000 concept.

 

 

The second one looks like a fugly version of a 50's Chevy truck...

I guess we're just not yet ready for this kind of design. Interesting concept but I also think that this is definitely not the best truck which has been ever made (according to the outside). But the design is good for aerodynamics and fuel consumption. Let's see where that goes...

When i see stuff like that, it makes me belive i was born 30 Years too late.
