Featured Replies

Hey Everyone. Well i been Testing out mods and so on, to see what give the GTa iv more Playing time. TBH, i hate the Ingame Police cars which really sucks and in love with the els cars including all the addons for lcpdfr. Anyways I'm Trying to see how long are people able to play without a Crash to the desktop.... It would help me out and i;m very sure others as well. And  a bonus if you can list the mods you do have.. :) as of right now i can Play around 30 to 40 mins...

Mods i have install as of right now

ELS 7.0 - Disable ELS for Ai cars Disable, since i notice the game crash every 10 to 15 mins

GTA V Liberty city police cars i found on thie website

No Plug ins

State Troopers skin modded

Enb something lol....

entire police helper mod (disable callouts)...

And I can play until I decide to stop playing. Weird. Oh wait, no I am not using any high-poly ELS cars that most definitely will cause your game to behave weirdly, and operate beyond its limits. ENBs are also prone to crashing the game. LCPDFR is only supported on a unmodded copy of the game.

lol.. your intro had my laughing lol! well matter of fact i kinda stop with the high poly ELS cars.. im using the "GTA V PACK - MODDED DEFAULTS 2 (ELS) R02"" and i think it works Great. As for the ENB you know i might end up unstalling that. It really make the game looks more up to date :).. But yea :)

I honestly don't see anything wrong with the vanilla cars, and if you think they are so hideous, you might want to use Ekalbs modified versions as they are more cleaned-up according to some users. Less mods = Less crashes, all the more true in the world of GTA IV :)

I get a good 1.5-2 hours before the game crashes...or the script crashes (my game don't crash too often - scripts crash more often).  I can usually quit the game when I play.

I only mod my nstockade, fbi, polpat and noose with els and nice higher poly cars.  Everything else kept with updated original GTAIV cars (thanks Ekalb).  I have modded many civilian peds, including all cop peds with no issues.

I use a cruise control mod, Police Helper, Callouts+ and another one I can't remember at the moment.  I had to remove Bravehearts Policing Script so I get better FPS and seems to have eliminated crashing.

EDIT:  No ENBs here either, but I do use a really nice Time Cycle which adds brilliance to the graphics without the crashing and FPS loss...I think from Sgt Kanyo...could be mistaken.  It's here in the LCPDFR download page.

Good luck!

I can play for about 2 minutes......

Usually because I don't play the game I try to break it.

No seriously I only ever play GTA IV now to test features in Callouts+, which is great for you guys because it means I spot the main errors and fix them before a release is made.

In terms of real play time, I've never played it for long enough since I started Callouts+, but it runs very stable for me so.

Mods I use, LCPDFR 1.0b, Callouts+ DevBuild, and the CryENB. That's it.

I only play when I make a video which is 15 - 25 min. somewhere in that range. I have had crashes when playing, but it's GTA IV on PC.

Mods - LCPDFR 1.0b, Towing Service, ELS v7, Traffic Flow, Indicator Script, SNT, Realistic Timecycle v4. Cop peds, and Police cars
