my problem is that after I nstalled the new verions of LCPD:FR (as well as all hotfixes) I can't use the taser anymore. I pressed ALT+T, ALT+T twice and also tried it with T only, but it never showed up. I also tried to >install the taser manually but it still won't work.

 

I know there is already >another post out there but he hasn't posted any logs.

I attached a screen of the diagnostics tool, my AdvancedHook.log, my AdvancedHookInit.log, LCPDFR.log and the diagnostics log.

I've gone through your logs, and can see a few random crashes every now and then. But nothing to relate to the taser I don't think.

Have you definitely uninstalled all previous versions of LCPDFR correctly?

Are you running any other mods at all?

I deleted my entire GTAIV beofre installing the v1.0 but I thought the v1.0b fix would work like the v1.0a Hotfix, so I just installed it and it worked properly. (except taser)

But as I said, I had the problem already in the v1.0 and v1.0a.

Ok, you need to fully uninstall LCPDFR, make sure to remove the entire mod from GTA IV.

Version 1.0b has the latest hotfixes included within the new installer.

 

So whereas before you had to install 1.0 and then 1.0a on top, now you only need to install 1.0b on it's own.

I recommend you do this so you don't have any slight clashes between the two versions.

Well, can it get any better? Now I also cannot arrest somebody - it's like the E has no function.

Well the taser controls are ALT + T.

And arresting someone is aim + E.

 

Get your diagnostics tool to run a check on your installation and get back to me :)

Log details a non LCPDFR related crash.

 

What I would do is try to remove some of your other mods, especially ones with keybinds. and see if they are causing a conflict.

Yep, at least I can arrest people now again! But the taser is still not working. I disabled every mod but ELS and SimpleNative.

Try disabling simple native just to be sure.

Also, now that you can arrest again. Start slowly enabling mods one at a time, then testing, so you can see which is causing the problem.

I already know which one it was - to activate InternetRadio you have to press ALT+E. But by deactivating simple native nothing changed.

As for the taser thing, I am a little stumped at this. You're definitely pressing ALT + T twice? (once to holster it, twice to equip it)

That's really strange.

 

I'll have to do some testing to see if I can figure it out for you, I'll get back to you when I can.

Hopefully someone else might know the answer as to why it isn't working.

Well, maybe it isn't solved yet, but at least I can thank you for spending so much time to consider with my problem. :)

Did you read the LCPDFR manual?

The User Manual with all the LCPDFR related instructions :) 

Where do I find this? The only thing I have in my folder is the Documentation.pdf ...
