Amazing Headlights.

Featured Replies

Very cool but very illegal. It would be funny though to have them on a bright color like red, green or blue and then get pulled over and switch them back to white quick. "No officer I think your mistaken, my head lights aren't blue"

I might be careful on that one, it could really depend on the agency. For example, US Border Patrol might disassemble your vehicle to prove otherwise.

lol yea I would never do it but the scenario would just be funny. I would love to see the officer/deputies reaction when he goes to look again and they are white.

It's funny, until you hear him whisper "I should lay off the drugs, they're driving me nuts"

Sorta seem like impersonating an officer

Liberty City, a place where the medics are more lethal than the murderers

These can't be possibly legal for on-road use, but I would love them. It shouldn't be too hard to do, either, but I am curious as to the cost.

Its illegal, in almost every state its illegal to have colored head lights. Its cool but its illegal hell I would probably even use it its that cool lol

Yea very illegal. A recent ride along I did someone was driving against us with *slightly* blue tinted headlights and we whipped around and pulled them over. I'm talking just slightly more blueish than HID's. It led to a voluntary vehicle search lol, which turned up nothing.

They would be cool for show cars, parking lot meets, or showing off in your driveway but thats about it.

Well in Wisconsin they're considered a secondary offence. (Can't get pulled over for it but you can be ticketed for it if your pulled over for a different reason)  So you could have them because you won't be pulled over for it. But if you are pulled for lets say speeding and you are being a dick to the officer then he can write you the ticket for it. Most cops don't bother with secondary traffic offences because then they have to pull out the state statue book and look it up lol.

Why does everyone think that just lights make you an impersonator? are you on drugs? my car is loaded with lights & I no one knows I have them besides my friends, does that make me an impersonator? if so, I think you should probably look up the definition..

Impersonating an officer only comes in to play if your using the lights to make other people slow down and stop.

Well when I DO become an officer, I might have to consider them as an alternative to "wig-wag" lighting!

(I'm not really a fan of wig-wag headlights)

I don't think thats true. I rode with a sergeant and the main and only reason we pulled him over was for those blue headlights. So that would lead me to believe that you can be pulled over for that and only that (in Wisconsin). The officer knew the drivers prior drug history after running his info which was what lead to the request for the search. The K9 was there just in case he didn't give permission but he did and the search turned up nothing. He was simply let go with a possible warning for the lights but I couldn't hear what he said to him. But the main reason for that stop was the lights and only after he ran his info did he recognize him. I could be wrong though as I haven't looked up the statute on it but I don't think he would have risked a case over an illegal stop.
