Yes i figured out how to fix the shiny peds...lol

no they don't, you will have to do it when the update is released...lol

In case anyone is wondering, Yes it will be a new pack, If you check out my k9 patrol vid on youtube you'll see a couple of the peds being tested, like the snow cop, a k9 cop ped, female cops with the hats.
