a completely new police computer problem

Hey guys,

I'm using an ENB that supersamples up to 3200x2400 or so. The result is that while most of the game samples back down to the normal resolution, the police computer does not. I am stuck with only 1/4 of the active part of the screen showing. I can actually move the active window and still navigate the computer, but I am unable to click the "logout" button on the bottom right and hitting E doesn't work. Thus I cannot leave the computer.

Any suggestions?

Thanks!

Yeah I get same problem with ENB when using the "force AA" / "force resolution" sertting as you say it resizes the window.

The red markers are the other thing affected but that isn't game breaking.

I can't even use the police computer at all, and could never find a workaround. I also can't use Sniper's dashcam as it only shows a fragment of the interface.

Like I said I was never able to find a workaround and only use that ENB version for general play. For LCPDFR I had to revert to using non forced version. As it's not really a fault with LCPDFR or Dashcam. They were never designed to work like this.

If you do find a workaround or anyone knows of one of course I would be interested too.

Here is what happens with the resultion, When you install LCPD FR, it detects what resolution you have (does something to where it installs the right resolution screen or something of that sort), And sets the comp screen to that resolution, Change it however, And you'll only see a part of the comp screen, Simply do this, Re install LCPDFR With the new Resolution, It should work, I had this happen when I was at like 2560by1980 or something of that sort, then I down scaled it to 1980/1280, and that happened to me, I just re installed and it worked, This might work, Or might be completely irrelevant, Idk, Just trying to help, Good luck :thumbsup:

PS: I dont think the computer was meant to go to resultions that high.

Well, on the other side, why isint it possbile to close the Police Computer with a Key like ESC. I also have this problem and its driving me nuts. You guys should at least make it able to close the PolComp while pressing ESC or an option to disable it in the .ini .

The other thing would be to allow user to choose the resulution in the .ini .

For now I cant use LCPDFR (very sad!) cause I sometimes stuck in the policecomp. And no key will close it.

Sucks :-(

Hi All.

I had a similar issue with Resolution as I play with a HDTV from time to time via a HDMI Cable.

The blue LCPD database screen was to small or to big (depending on my resolution) which meant i had to guess with the mouse were to click to press the buttons on screen.

I reinstalled LCPD as per the normal installation and this issue has been resolved.

I assume others have fixed this issue but thought id drop in my success story!

Cheers.

There is another way to get Antialising without Downsampling, it's called FXAA, it also takes not that much recources and the quality is bit worse but it works perfectly with LCPDFR. It's available here.

To install it, open the d3d9 folder, rename the d3d9.dll into d3d9_fxaa.dll and copy it with the other files into the main GTAIV folder. Then open the enbseries.ini file and change the values in [PROXY] to:

EnableProxyLibrary=true

InitProxyFunctions=true

ProxyLibrary=d3d9_fxaa.dll

And don't forget to disable Downsampling ^^

Hey cool I will give that a try! thx

Hey this is pretty nice, it still looks good I have more FPS, my ENB Lighting is still great with ELS, and LCPDFR works even with the policecomp...

Ok its a bit different then wtih downsampling but it still looks pretty nice.

Thank you so much Cj
