Hey everyone. I decided to add Policehelper again with the new lcpdfr 1.0 but it acts kinda weird lol like it works but the models Dont move and crash so i wanted to know . How many people have Policehelper working perfectly with  lcpdfr 1.0 : thanks! just want to know if its only me................... the only way for me to get it to work is set everything on MAgic mode. where it just appear and leave.

hmm i use it with 1.0 without a problem.

no its not only you, my policehelper crashes all the time with 1.0

I've stopped using policehelper since LCPDFR 1.0. I see no sense in using it anymore. Because you can have basically the same functions like ID-checking in LCPDFR 1.0 (which was one of the main reasons for using police helper).

I mainly use Police Helper just so I can request a mechanic, or a new car if Im totally failing, lol

 

Good idea on disabling the world events Ill do that now if I can remember, they always cause errors in the game for me, and maybe they are causing the odd crash too.

You could actually use the native trainer for that as well and you wouldn't have to use policehelper.

It made my game run a bit more stable since I removed the policehelper script, but it was a nice script to have though.

Some people like to roleplay to the fullest, and as such the policehelper/towing scripts is really useful for that.

Invenio, Investigatio, Imperium

Disabling the world events definitely helps. I did that and I saw a great improvement over how it runs. I also use it mostly for repairing my car and calling for a town truck. Usually the towservice will crash, or there will be some other script for policehelper that crashes, like drunk drivers or lighttick - which I have no idea what the lighttick is - but it doesn't crash the entire policehelper script, so I can still use the mechanic. If I want it to work again, I just reloadscripts and it works again.

 

There are some things that just won't work right until they are updated to be compatible with 1.0a. Hopefully policehelper script is, but I guess the creator's been having some issues. One thing I really miss is the bait car out of policehelper. That pretty much crashes every time I try to use it.

I don't know about the bait car feature, I haven't tried using it with LCPDFR yet.

The sheer amount of options native trainer has puts me off, and knowing me I would start to abuse it, by giving myself constant health or whatever.

 

Besides, Police Helper is very easy to use, its only a small interface, and the options aren't enough to overwhelm you.

 

Disabling the world events  for Police helper has definitely made things more smooth for me, and I'm not getting any errors at the moment, remains to be seen whether this will cut down on the odd crash or not.
