How about a rarer call out, such as a Bank robbery gone wrong? Basically, 3 or 4 heavily armed suspects wearing body armour, normal units wouldn't really stand much of a chance, so you would either have to pick them off one by one or spam the NOOSE call in key.

Loving the new call out ideas, will definitely get this when its publicly released, great job ;)

The sheer amount of options native trainer has puts me off, and knowing me I would start to abuse it, by giving myself constant health or whatever. Besides, Police Helper is very easy to use, its only a small interface, and the options aren't enough to overwhelm you. Disabling the world events for Police helper has definitely made things more smooth for me, and I'm not getting any errors at the moment, remains to be seen whether this will cut down on the odd crash or not.

I downloaded the less Cops mod, while the Police drivers are still the same you won't have about 20 random backup units joining in random pursuits now, with the mod other ingame units still exist, but they aren't on every road anymore. I mainly use Police Helper just so I can request a mechanic, or a new car if Im totally failing, lol Good idea on disabling the world events Ill do that now if I can remember, they always cause errors in the game for me, and maybe they are causing the odd crash too.

To be honest that Cop had guts, if I was the Cop I would of probably backed out of the building and waited for backup, the fact that the guy made him jump (he was literally right around the corner waiting like something out of a horror film) yet he still maintained his cool, called out several warnings before finally actng in self defence says a lot for him and his training.

For me probably about an hour to maybe two. I only have the Police Helper as an addon, no custom cars or anything.

That was quite hard to watch, but I agree the Police Officer did the right thing, the guy kept walking towards him in a slow and methodical manner like he was planning to do something. If I had a knife on me (say I was buttering toast when an Officer came in lol) and a cop with a gun yelled at me to drop the knife, I would straight away without question, he's got the gun.

Just make a new save leaving your old one intact, play past the first mission (where you pick a drunk roman up and head to his place), go outside so you dont get spammed by the 'you can park your car here' prompt, then save the game. After that, just run LCPD, by that point in the story you wont technically have a phone so dont have to worry about getting hassled.

Had a report of shots fired, me and my partner headed in to the scene, had a message from control saying another unit was also responding. So we get there, and there is a lone police car sitting there with its lights still flashing but no sign of it's Officers, we jump out and cautiously advance into the alley way. You guessed it, about 8 gangsters wielding SMGs open up at us, I jump over the hood of my car and get the hell down while radioing for NOOSE support. Eventually the guys shooting at us start going down because something is hitting them from behind, once the two of us start shooting (they were spraying us the whole time we were waiting for backup) the last of them go down as the NOOSE team storms the area, we walk up to them and exchange high fives before going back to patrol! And there was the time I had to chase a suspect on a motorcycle, jesus christ that was a struggle just keeping in the search circle, several police cruisers and a helicopter were struggling to keep up with this guy, must of lost sight of him 2 or 3 times before he finally took a wrong turn and boxed himself in. He wasn't an idiot though, as soon as he was trapped he threw his hands into the air, instead of pulling out a pistol and getting gunned down.

This threw me as well temporarily, to call in air support press CTRL and N at the same time. ALT and N at the same time will call in NOOSE support.

Thank you so much for such a unique and fun twist on the sand box genre, I had GTA on the PS3 for years, but once I stumbled on this mod on YouTube I dropped everything and bought the game on pc just for this. Sorry for rambling, I'm so excited I'm counting down the minutes :)

Hello ladies and gentlemen, GTA finally arrived yesterday, due to sod's law I had college all day and work all night so I only managed to play a couple of hours, but here's a few things I noticed: 1: I had a couple of call-outs more or less one after the other during my first patrol, but after that things got really quiet and I spent most of my time waiting for some driver to screw up so I could chase after him, are the call-outs random? I did play a good couple of hours. 2: I also noticed no 'random encounters', I never saw other Police Officers in pursuits or anything like that. 3: I think this one may be the root of the problem, at the bottom right of my screen there is a message that says 'Please get the newest version of LCPDFR, RC2R2' Yet undernearth it when it shows what version of the mod I have it just says 'LCPD:FR RC2 R2' is that a UI glitch or do I have the wrong version? Im fairly sure I downloaded the most recent one. 4: Just a trivial one, how do I get into multiplayer games? I admit Iv not tried this yet, do I just start up a free roam multiplayer game and then press ALT and U to activate the mod? Thanks guys, good to be here but just a couple of queries I wanted to get out of the way, chances are Iv not installed it properly.

Had the PS3 version for years, decided to get the PC version for a tenner after seeing LCPDFR vids on youtube ;) Been playing it for the last 3 hours, should really go to bed.
