Hope your mod can bring more traffic realism to GTA IV. Looking forward to it.

 

Some suggestions: add more diversity of traffic signs and road markings, which was not enough by default, while in GTA V R* did a good job.

I am about 1/5 of the way through with the traffic signals atm then ill add the signs. I'm trying to find some people to help with road markings, speed bumps and a script but I've found no one interested in helping out yet. If you want better road markings try the road textures by fonia5 (I think they are on GTA4 Mods cos I don't think they are on here) they are quite nice road textures and it includes the pavements too.

Also screenshots will be released once I find out how to take them with out the black screen. Might just even use my camera

 

UPDATE: I'm sorry guys but BETA won't be released this month due to me spraining my arm and other personal issues. I will try to get the BETA out as fast as I can but I don't think much will happen with the mod atm.

Thanks I've got Midtown and Downtown Algonquin left to do when my arm is better all of Uptown Algonquin is done. Then there will be the Algonquin beta release :)

 

I wonder if it's even possible to go through and fix all the bugged intersections where traffic lights don't work correctly.

Following progress with great interest!

@ The Loot it is possible but I need to find some sort of script modder to help me. But I've made it so that all the new traffic signals I have placed are on red when the cars are stopped and on green when they move so hopefully people should know if the cars are going to move or not.

 

@ ineseri thanks I can't believe I sprained by arm while Arm wrestling lol otherwise this probably would of been released next week or the week after.

Ok ill have to find something to film with cos my IPhone isn't a great option neither is my video recorder...

It doesn't hurt as much as yesterday (Yes I screamed like a girl when it happened...) I've had some painkillers too.

If you are using Steam, it's very easy to take a screenshot. You do not even need to have the game bought in steam, you can just add it to steam. Use the steam overlay and take screenshots :)

I know im a tad late on the suggestion, but how about seeing if you can move the lights across the street like in real life and finally GTA V. 

 

If thats not possible then, what you have im sure will be fine. Another thing. There are some speed signs around but they are far and few between. I go off the average city speed limit which is 25, and then 30 on the highways. You could do 30 city 35 highway. 

 

More road signs would be awesome. I look forward to this mod, and good luck with your sprain.

Thanks that's what I have done the traffic lights and on both sides of the street and Im planning to do signs too but im doing the lights first then place all the signs then Algonquin BETA release (Yay!!!!! lol). Damn I also need to find something to be speed bumps too

I recommend doing two separate releases. One for people who wouldn't want the speed bumps and one for those that would. Although you seem fairly smart so im sure you have already thunk this through :p

it would all be one rar file but some object ini's will be for signs some for traffic lights and some for speed bumps if I find a decent object.
