hello everyone i have compromised a tutorial on what hardware you need to get gta iv

completely stable for online play, with enb, mods, cars, scripts, and recording with fraps and other softwares and still get good frame rates

this is what you need.

Seems similar to one of those scams where they constantly say that they have a solution to something, but don't say what it is unless you pay for it.

 

I will stay tuned though as I'm very curious to see what you have to say.

That doesn't guarantee no crashes, FYI. It just mean you can play at high detail levels.

Actually I have on par or better hardware, depending on if you're an AMD fanboy or not. I have a faster Intel Core i7 processor and a 670 which is about a 5% difference in performance from the 680 on average. This thread is pretty useless, dude. You could've summed it up with a sentence rather than a video. "If you want to play GTA IV well, get an expensive gaming PC."

lol what is there to say? i explained everything in the video… LOL well its less expensive, and might heat up your room more. but out of all the intel systems i have had i would say this is best for recording while playing mp… with enb and mods. NEVER CRASH LOL

GTX 680 is obsolete, 770 is pretty much an overclocked 680 for around $330-400 depending on the card.

 

Also that PSU is overkill unless you're going to be doing like 3 way SLI

hello, that build is just for MP, i have separate build for SLI:) and for the price of 770 with less ram you can have it lol id rather have more vram on a 680 and still have a good oc with less power consumption especially for SLI. and in "REAL WORLD TERMS" the 770 is not noticeable difference i don't think? 

This is fucking stupid. Doesn't really matter what computer you have GTA 4 will always crash. The game its self is unstable and the only way it can be fixed is if the Rockstar decides to re-code the game for the computer. Which we all know isn't going to happen. Yeah sure you can do things like buy a 50 million dollar graphics card to limit it but you will never stop it to a point were you don't have to worry about it.

 

Also that 8 core is unless games can only use a max of 2-4 cores. That graphics card is even more pointless... 

 

I would feel horrible if someone spent the $1500 for a computer just be let down when it crashes. Yeah sure you will have a kick ass computer but its not going fix anything... God how I wish we sitll had that downvote button...

Pretty much this. It doesn't matter what hardware you have, GTA IV will always crash, and that is even without mods. Putting "100% no crashes" in your video title doesn't make it any more serious, since that is essentially a statistical impossibility.

LMAOOO. I will give you credit for the effort though man. At least I now know what the problem is.

Changing hardware does not fix a software issue (like said above).

 

If you make a typo in one part of the code, compile it and it crashes. It will always crash, no matter if you have a 90 core quantum computer. 

 

If you believe that, take a computer science class.

 

GTA IV is a 32 bit game, it cant use more than what 4 GBs? The game can use as many cores as its programmed for, usually the technology that exited back when it was designed. 

 

Processors in 2008 were like 4 cores? So GTA IV shouldn't use more than that. 

 

wrong dark angle, please rematch the video.. i play all the time then fall asleep depressed because there is nothing else to do in gta.. so then after i wake up.. gta is still on. in mp and my friend have all crashed, like the title says its for only mp games while recording.. it is noticeably better on fps when recording and playing mp mp utilized the more cores. i have seen and benchmarked it if u don't believe me please verify your thesis.. but also you don't need to buy something unless u have the money to use. so i wouldn't want you to blow it unless you think u want to not crash..

ALSO GUYS 1.0 IS JUST AROUND THE CORNER SO IM SURE MOST OF YOU WONT CRASH AS MUCH WHEN IT COMES OUT.. due to the secret icing that makes this release #GODLYFORNEWBIES:)

I didn't say the hardware will make you crash. And how is it my coding? I have not coded anything for Rockstar or for the GTA IV source code. Hence, it's R* poor port to the pc, which frankly, sucks.

i just wish i could help you play online for hours like mer::////
