LCPD:FR 1.0

Featured Replies

Hello,

I was looking at the preview of the new LCPD:FR that's going to come out. I was thinking that it would be cool if somehow there was a backup system during a traffic stop so an officer could get additional back if needed. The backup would just come park up behind the officers car and maybe wait there just in case he needed some assistance like in real life. Just a suggestion and thought it would be cool!

And it would be very easy to make

it would be easy to make. I was also thinking that you could look at the license and see the guys picture and see where he lives and other stuff like that, but there would be some times where the picture on the license does not match the guy you pulled over and you would have to investigate it.

I don't know how that would work, since Rockstar made multiple textures on each model instead of making an entirely new model, but that would be great :teehee:

License, registration and proof of insurance please

Anyways, it's not a bad idea, really looking forward to LCPDFR 1.0

hopefully they will put that in the game

The AI will not just park up behind you, they'd probably run over 2 peds, hit 4 cars, and then damage your rear bumper

Don't forget: He runs down 8 lamps, hit a wall and then drive off a cliff.

This is an obvious, but as technology is enhanced, maybe that will be the case. I would think as well that maybe soon we'll have backup actually park behind your car and do something productive.

Not really, since no matter what is done, the AI's driving is hard coded into the game. It can be improved, which the devs have done in the past, but there is a limit to that.

Sticks and stones may break bones, but 5.56 fragments on impact.

Yeah, that could be another case as well. I haven't been too involved on the back end of GTA IV so I wouldn't know too much about it.
