  1. LCPDFR will only recognize police cars that are actually within the config. Some are including police1, police2, polpatriot, etc. If they are not an actual police slot (let's say you have a police car in the admiral slot), you will not be able to pull over with LCPDFR because it does not recognize it as a police car.
  2. Do you have multiple monitors?
  3. Your logfile indicates there's a problem with some pedmodels, one of them was added twice by the ContentManager. Try downloading the default peds that Sam provided here: '?do=embed' frameborder='0' data-embedContent>>
  4. This is truly a milestone for LCPDFR. I have played it for years now and am just amazed of what we could complete. The features that 1.0 adds is a huge step from when it all started at 0.91. Here's a quote I always love to share: I think for all of us, this what is what the LCPDFR team has accomplished. From the beer in my hand to virtually "LCPDFR's hand", cheers.
  5. So.... I'm sitting here at my desk with a cup of tea just waiting for the release later tonight. It's starting to get cold in my house... looking at the clock for the release to "warm" things up.
  6. Well, it could actually be a lot of things. It could be a cut wire to the backlight.. it could be a lot of things. If you're able to open the laptop and look at the wires connecting to the display, see if there's anything that looks damaged. The backlight bulb has a very high change to go out on you, and that's what it could be. You can find them online on Amazon probably.
  7. You have a corrupt EXE association inside your computer. Which operating system are you using?
  8. In this case, it might be a backlight problem with your laptop. The only way to test if this is the case is to actually connect an external display to your laptop. If you have a monitor cable and another monitor, just take the cable and connect it into the slot on the back of the laptop (may be on the side). Connect the other end into another monitor and then start up the computer. If the computer starts up and there's nothing on the external monitor, there is an issue with either the motherboard of the laptop, or the video card. If the display shows up on the external monitor, then the backlight is your issue.
  9. Okay, have you tried starting EFLC out from the program files instead of using Steam to start it? You can do that in these directories: Program Files > Steam > Common > Episodes from Liberty City > EFLC > LaunchEFLC
  10. Try these steps: 1. Unplug the laptop. 2. Remove the battery (if it is not removeable, skip this step) 3. Hold down the power button for anywhere around 30 seconds to 2 minutes. 4. Put the battery back in (if it is not removeable, skip this step) 5. Restart the laptop back up.
  11. After you clicked the Play Offline button on Social Club, does the EFLC game show up in your Task Manager? You can check this by clicking Ctrl + Alt + Delete, and starting up your task manager. It should be a button to start up task manager after you click those keys.. I'm not exactly sure how it is on Windows 8, though. After it starts up, click on the Processes tab at the very top. Does EFLC show up at all in that list?
  12. Wow, that is truly amazing! I want to thank the LCPDFR team for their awesome work. Merry Christmas!
  13. Wow, that's nice! Wish something like that would happen in America.. but I guess we're too lazy for that hahaha
  14. Yeah, fire departments love to use dual siren. I've never seen it yet in real life for a police car (probably cause I haven't seen too many respond while I'm driving). It's going to be a huge feature when ELS 7.1 is released.
  15. I can't really go over what to do in specifics because we have different keys so I'll use more broader terms. When you press down the siren key (G is default for me), it will play the main siren. For me to go through siren tones, I would need to hold down that G key (or whatever the siren key is for you), and that would play through the the next tone. Since there's obviously three tones, you would need to let go of the siren key, press it again, and scroll through the siren until you find the third tone. Hope that made any sense. If what I recommended does not work, the instructions OPPOfficer gave you would help your problem. I use that tool in multiplayer and it works just fine. You'll have to edit the .ini file (instructions are included in the download), and then use the key you set to automatically scroll through your siren tones. What this tool does is allows you to focus on your driving, and it will do all the siren tone changing for you.
  16. No problem. All I would suggest is try the commandline by pasting it into a text document and naming it "commandline.txt" without the quotations, then putting it into your main GTA IV directory. You should be able to get a bit of more better frames and hopefully be able to get some of those graphics settings up and get some better screenshots.
  17. Here's how I look at it. Your quality and efficiency of taking screenshots depends on your frames. It would take forever to actually focus on something in the game if you have no frames. For the quality of the screenshots, try putting up some of your video settings when you press Esc in game (such as water settings and view distance). If you add that commandline in, you should be able to get a bit more frames which will hopefully make the pictures a bit better.
  18. Have you tried reinstalling Adobe Flash Player?
  19. Try this commandline: -norestrictions -nomemrestrict -percentvidmem 100 -memrestrict 681574400 -memrestrict 629145600 -noprecache -novblank -norestrictions -nomemrestrict -frameLimit 0 -width 1366 -height 768 -texturequality 2 -renderquality 4 -shadowdensity 1 -viewdistance 29 -detailquality 29 -percentvidmem 100 -availablevidmem 27.0 To add it in, just create a text document named "commandline.text" and add it in to your GTA IV directory. Let me know if that helps.
  20. It's alright, a bit dark for me. I like to have a bit of light in my game so I can see where I'm going.
  21. Making in game modifications can really help your game performance, as shown above with a commandline. What also helped for me is out of game modifications. By that I mean removing some of the programs you don't need running in the background. This can preserve the resources your memory needs to use.
  22. Very nice script, you did a good job making it.
