AIDispatch - AI Voice Dispatch for Policing Redefined

AI Dispatch 1.0 for LSPDFR

AI Dispatch transforms the way you communicate with dispatch in LSPDFR by allowing you to speak naturally instead of memorizing rigid voice commands or navigating menus.

Using Google Gemini’s live voice understanding, AI Dispatch listens to your radio transmissions, interprets what you are asking for, and carries out supported LSPDFR and Policing Redefined actions.

You can report traffic stops, request backup and emergency services, update your status, run checks, accept calls, give pursuit updates, and much more using natural conversational speech.

Full 1.0 Release

Version 1.0 is a major upgrade from the previous public alpha release.

The alpha version used Gemini 2.5 Native Audio and included more limited, generic voice responses. AI Dispatch 1.0 now uses Gemini 3.1 Flash Live Preview, providing faster and more natural voice understanding while supporting a much more complete custom dispatcher experience.

Main Features

Natural Voice Recognition

AI Dispatch does not require an exact list of commands.

You can speak naturally using phrases such as:

  • “Dispatch, show me available.”

  • “Mark me out on a traffic stop.”

  • “Send me another unit Code 2.”

  • “Can I get EMS to my location?”

  • “Show me responding.”

  • “We’re heading northbound on El Rancho Boulevard.”

  • “Lost visual, last seen westbound on Del Perro Freeway.”

  • “The traffic stop is all clear. Show me back on patrol.”

AI Dispatch uses the context of your current situation to understand follow-up requests and conversational wording.

Status Management

You can update your duty status by voice, including:

  • Available or 10-8

  • Busy or unavailable

  • Responding or en route

  • On scene

  • Traffic stop

  • Code 4

  • Code 6 or investigating

  • Suspect in custody

  • Returning to patrol

Code 6 is handled separately from 10-6 or busy, allowing you to properly mark yourself as investigating without confusing it with an unavailable status.

Backup and Emergency Services

Request supported units and services naturally, including:

  • Local patrol backup

  • Code 2 or Code 3 backup

  • Multiple backup units

  • Panic or emergency backup

  • Air support

  • Spike strips

  • EMS

  • Fire department

  • Tow truck

  • Coroner

  • Prisoner transport

  • Felony-stop assistance

Multi-unit requests support natural quantities such as “two units,” “a couple of units,” or “a few more.”

Traffic Stop System

AI Dispatch 1.0 includes a significantly expanded traffic-stop system.

You can report:

  • Your location

  • Direction of travel

  • Vehicle color

  • General vehicle description

  • Traffic-stop status

  • Stop details and suspicious behavior

  • Code 4 or traffic-stop completion

Example:

“Dispatch, I’m on a traffic stop southwestbound on Carson Avenue with a black two-door vehicle.”

AI Dispatch can combine the information into a voiced dispatcher acknowledgement.

When information is missing, dispatch can naturally ask for the stop location first and then request a vehicle description.

AI Dispatch also remembers the traffic-stop context, allowing follow-up requests such as:

“Send me another unit.”

Voiced Street and Location Updates

Unlike the previous public alpha, version 1.0 includes custom voice splicing for supported GTA street and road names.

AI Dispatch can create natural-sounding pursuit and traffic-stop acknowledgements using separate voice clips for:

  • Direction

  • Street or road name

  • Pursuit status

  • Traffic-stop information

  • Vehicle description

This allows dispatch to repeat details such as:

“Copy, suspect heading eastbound on Del Perro Freeway.”

Pursuit Updates

AI Dispatch supports conversational pursuit updates without automatically treating every update as a request for more backup.

You can report:

  • Direction of travel

  • Current street or roadway

  • Lost visual

  • Last known location

  • Suspect danger information

  • PIT authorization requests

  • Pursuit completion

  • Suspects apprehended or down

Location updates can be voiced using the included direction and road-name audio system.

Callout Interaction

AI Dispatch can interact with LSPDFR callouts by voice.

Supported actions include:

  • Requesting an available callout

  • Accepting an offered callout

  • Declining a callout

  • Saying “show me responding” to accept and mark yourself en route

  • Updating your responding and on-scene status

  • Returning to service after the call

Plate and Pedestrian Checks

AI Dispatch supports voice-initiated plate and pedestrian checks while allowing Policing Redefined and LSPDFR to provide their normal information.

The custom follow-up system can react to results such as:

  • Clear returns

  • Wanted persons

  • Warrants

  • Suspended licences

  • Expired registration

  • Expired insurance

  • No registration

  • No insurance

  • Stolen vehicles

  • Multiple document problems

Return timing has been adjusted so AI Dispatch’s custom voice does not speak over longer LSPDFR or Policing Redefined scanner readouts.

Custom Dispatcher Audio

Version 1.0 includes a greatly expanded custom dispatcher voice pack covering:

  • Status changes

  • Backup requests

  • Emergency services

  • Plate checks

  • Pedestrian checks

  • Pursuit updates

  • Traffic stops

  • Callout responses

  • Dangerous returns

  • Follow-up questions

  • Code 4 and acknowledgement lines

The audio files are organized into dedicated folders for easier installation and future customization.

Contextual Follow-Up Questions

AI Dispatch can continue a conversation when additional information is needed.

Examples include:

  • Asking how many units you need

  • Asking whether they should respond Code 2 or Code 3

  • Requesting your traffic-stop location

  • Requesting a vehicle description

  • Offering backup after a dangerous plate or pedestrian return

  • Asking for a last-known location after losing visual during a pursuit

You can respond naturally without repeating the entire original request.

Radio Interface

AI Dispatch includes:

  • Push-to-talk radio controls

  • Radio key-down and key-up sounds

  • Optional radio static

  • An animated radio-wave display

  • A separate status indicator

  • Radio-holding character animations

  • Configurable widget placement and scale

  • Keyboard and optional controller support

The interface can be repositioned and adjusted in game.

Requirements

AI Dispatch 1.0 requires:

  • Grand Theft Auto V Legacy

  • LSPDFR

  • RAGE Plugin Hook

  • ScriptHookV

  • Policing Redefined 1.0.0.5

  • A Google Gemini API key

  • Newtonsoft.Json.dll in plugins\LSPDFR

Do not remove Newtonsoft.Json.dll, as AI Dispatch requires it for Gemini API communication.

Gemini API Key

AI Dispatch requires your own Google Gemini API key.

After installing the mod, open:

plugins\LSPDFR\AIDispatch.ini

Replace:

ApiKey=PUT_YOUR_GEMINI_API_KEY_HERE

with your personal API key.

Do not share screenshots or configuration files containing your API key.

Installation

  1. Install LSPDFR and RAGE Plugin Hook.

  2. Install Policing Redefined 1.0.0.5.

  3. Extract the AI Dispatch download.

  4. Copy the contents of the included Release folder into your main GTA V directory.

  5. Allow the folders to merge when prompted.

  6. Open plugins\LSPDFR\AIDispatch.ini.

  7. Enter your Gemini API key.

  8. Launch GTA V through RAGE Plugin Hook.

  9. Go on duty and hold the configured dispatch talk key to speak.

The default push-to-talk key is listed in the included configuration and keybind reference files.

Important Upgrade Notice

Users upgrading from the previous public alpha should install the complete 1.0 package rather than copying only the DLL.

Version 1.0 includes new and reorganized dispatcher audio files, updated configuration options, street-name audio, traffic-stop audio, and other supporting files required by the full release.

It is recommended that you remove or back up the previous AI Dispatch folder before installing 1.0 to avoid retaining obsolete files.

Do not install any older optional audio suppression or replacement packages over version 1.0.

What Is New Since the Public Alpha?

  • Upgraded from Gemini 2.5 Native Audio to Gemini 3.1 Flash Live Preview (HUGE UPGRADE)

  • Improved natural-language recognition

  • Voiced GTA street and road names

  • Pursuit direction and location voice splicing

  • Lost-visual and last-seen pursuit handling

  • Traffic-stop location voice splicing

  • Traffic-stop vehicle-description voice splicing

  • Missing-information traffic-stop conversations

  • Dedicated Code 6 or investigating support

  • Improved traffic-stop Code 4 handling

  • Expanded custom dispatcher voice pack

  • Improved plate and pedestrian return reactions

  • Better timing around PR and LSPDFR scanner audio

  • Improved handling of registration and insurance issues

  • Better contextual follow-up questions

  • Cleaner audio folder organization

  • Additional stability, recognition, and false-positive protections

Notes

AI voice recognition can occasionally mishear words, especially with poor microphone quality, loud background audio, or unusual street-name pronunciation.

For the best results:

  • Use a clear microphone

  • Set the correct Windows default recording device

  • Hold the radio key for the entire transmission

  • Speak naturally and clearly

  • Avoid speaking while dispatcher audio is still playing

  • Check AIDispatch.log when reporting a problem

When requesting support, include your AIDispatch.log, but never publish your API key.

yeah I'll try to work on that today. If you want an idea of what it does, just take a look at what grammar police does and the mod works the same except theres less restriction on phrasing since AI interprets what you're saying. So you can formulate however you want and the AI should understand what you are asking

I got to say wow....You did a good job on this. A little more precise voice feedback from dispatch would make this a really good alternative to GP. It actually works really well. I'll play with it a little more and post a review shortly. Please add shoulder animation to the PPT.

hey seems like you might be tapping the key instead of holding it. You have to lhold the keybind the entire time you are speaking. And if that dosent work make sure the mic you want to use is the one windows is using by defauilt.

Lspdfr crashes when unloading the Lspdfr plugin, and you can't reload Lspdfr again.

Thanks, It should not affect normal gameplay, but it can throw an RPH/LSPDFR exception when unloading/reloading LSPDFR. I’ll patch it so the AIDispatch main loop shuts down cleanly before LSPDFR unloads.

Thank you. Right now the reply from dispatch are really bland I know and this is one of the next step for the mod for sure. I appreciate the feedback thank you!

Calling a pursuit doesn't blip the vehicle as the grammar police do. Idk if you can do something about that.

Thanks, I will try and add this to the next update for now keep using GR alongside my mod so you can blip the cars. I'm having a hard time figuring how to blip the car and trigger the LSPDFR chasse state at the moment.

I found a bunch of sound files in my GP and PR folder and added them for various responses from the dispatcher. It works really well.

It’s a shame you can’t talk to dispatch like a normal one instead of having the old dispatch come over again

That right there is the end goal of the mod. I want to make it just like NPCAI where you can have a back and forth with the dispatcher. Keep in mind this is the ALPHA version of the mod.

Keys Enum (System.Windows.Forms)

Specifies key codes and modifiers.

This is the keybinds my mod uses. use the codes on the left of the list to change your keybind... for numpad 0 use this "DispatchTalkKey=NumPad0" for 0 on the number rows use: DispatchTalkKey=D0 . My mod should work just fine.

I suggest you download the Blue Line Vibe dispatcher. Also, all the dispatcher responses are mostly from your Lspdfr audio REPORT_RESPONSE folder. You can change any of these files to any audio line you prefer. As long as you add them to your REPORT_RESPONSE folder located in your Lspdfr/Audio/Scanner. Make sure the path matches the one you will copy into your AI Dispatch.ini file.

I used RMenu (right ALT) and works great for me. So it looks like,

[Controls]

DispatchTalkKey=RMenu

HoldToTalk=true
