Certificate Security problems

Featured Replies

I am having a major problem with my Google Chrome certificate security. It's blocking google and other useful websites and says they're fraudulent. I need Google, it's like part of daily society :teehee:  and when I go to the options it won't let me remove the "harmful" google certificate. Honestly the forums weren't my first choice but it's not like I can google it right?  :yucky:

1. Click the Chrome menu on the browser toolbar.

2. Select Settings.

3. Click Show advanced settings.

4. Go to the "HTTPS/SLL" submenu

Remove all of the certs. It should automatically correct the certificates. Hope this'll work!

Certificate warnings can certainly be a cause for concern - certificates aren't just to annoy you, they're to ensure that a site is who it says it is.

[snip], they're to ensure that a site is who it says it is.

That would work, if it was not so easy to hack certificate authorities. SSL/TLS is worthless, for anything other than encryption, with such high prices and incompetence.

You are using the WRONG right theme!
