I had an...interesting run in with the AI today. I pull up to the intersection and a truck decides to drive right into another car. The truck backs up and the car continues on. When the truck starting to drive again....well...

Did they release it over there already?! I've seen comercials for it here in the US and I can't wait to see it! I saw Shaun of the Dead and Hot Fuzz and loved them!

I'll be driving down the road and I'll be doing top speed, and I come upon trucks and cars that aren't going as fast as me, and I'll think that I can overtake them. I get through one or two before I see another truck barreling down the highway in my direction and I either swerve off the road or kill some poor bloke in an Astra next to me. It is quite entertaining, so when I get home I may see if I can record a gameplay and stick it on YouTube.

I just checked out the americantrucksimulator.com and it says that it is the future domain for the game but it doesn't confirm production of the game. Hopefull they do make it!

What are these mods called and where can I find them? I wouldn't mind driving a Kenworth or Mack down the highway.

Yeah the graphics are pretty bad, since it came out a while ago. If only there was a modern American Truck Simulator! SCS software, the creator of 18 WoS and ETS, reserved the domain http://www.americantrucksimulator.com, but it is only to protect the game, if it were to be created. I'm really hopeful!

That would be really cool if they did release it I would drive non stop around the country and visit my hometown and see if I can see my apartment

The 18 Wheels of Steel games are old and outdated, I want one with the updated engine.

They are doing a new 18 Wheels of Steal style game called 'American Truck Simulator' with stunning graphics better then Euro Truck Simulator 2!

I just love this game.. I used to play 18 WoS a long time ago and ETS 1 too, but they got a bit boring since they werent really "realistic" but that info + screenshot Rubengta posted looks great! Cant wait :P
