What are some cool things I can do on singleplayer patrol in GTA 4?

Featured Replies

Hello. I have been into patrolling around in liberty city as a police officer in single player for about a half of a year now (in other words, since I got the game, learned how to mod-for the most part...). When I go in-game, I'll make the usual-traffic stops, respond to calls, etc., but what are some other interesting things I can do as a police officer in GTA, but, also, won't mean I would have to download (big) mods? I just want to know: what are some cool/interesting policing things I can do? I have been thinking about joining a clan, but 1- I don't even have a headset, 2- I really don't know which one to join, and 3- I don't know if I will have that commitment or time. So, what are some cool/interesting policing things that I can do in-game?

Any suggestions will be appreciated! Thanks for your time!

1.  Get the Policehelper Mod. It's a really simple installation and adds a lot of new stuff to the game. Such as traffic cones, support units etc. It is really good fun to mess around with. '?do=embed' frameborder='0' data-embedContent>>

2.  Bravehearts policing script is really nice and adds a lot more to the game! '?do=embed' frameborder='0' data-embedContent>>

3.  Get the FDLC mod, you now act as a paramedic and firefighter! '?do=embed' frameborder='0' data-embedContent>>

4.  Get some new vehicle models, really adds some variety to the game!

5.  Get some mates to play with you, doesn't have to a clan!

Hope this helps!

I just take a break from patrol, Play a different game, Play as a bad cop, explore different GTA mods and scripts. You could do some roleplaying. Like checkpoints; DUI, Customs Or CBP ( same ), Military Police, Manhunt, Narcotic search, etc. Or you could do different patrol; DUI patrol, K-9 Patrol with Vdh k-9 script. You could do a prostitution patrol in an unmarked car, Or a marked patrol car they won't care. But unmarked  is better. I think of it as the Dept. Prostitution Unit ( PU ). Some stuff to think about.

Just switch up your vehicle mods a lot, it doesn't hurt if you make sure your game game run them, and they are legit.
