LCPD First Response Version .95 Beta 1 Walkthrough - Part 2 & 3

Featured Replies

Part 2:

I'll wrap this video series up. Pretty lengthy, but at least you'll get an idea of the variety of calls you can get out there and what glitches show up the most. Pretty important insight for devs as well as people who don't have .95 Beta 1 installed. Sorry my commentary isn't too exciting, not much I could do but play.

Part 3:

There we go. And thanks for updating the website with my new video again Jay, I appreciate it.

Hey unr3al, nice videos. One thing though and I'm not sure if I should say this or not, but the G siren annoyance you mentioned, I'm not sure its the mod doing that. I think it maybe ELS doing it. One thing I noticed was when pulling someone over, my siren gets disabled (as they are pulling over). My ELS siren control is bound to the num + key. When I look up some with a G in their name, my siren never comes on. So I suspect if you changed the mapping for ELS, the siren may stop that. The J and K keys well that's a different story. 8-)

The siren will only stop during a traffic stop while your officer says something over the bullhorn. After that it will resume. G is the default key for the siren, and I have always used that in every single video. The computer system in .95 is brand new, and may have some unforeseen consequences. But as G17 put it before, they don't support after-market mods of any sort.

Thanks, that'll be enough out of me for now. I'll concentrate on testing (and having fun) instead of narrating.

I understand that G17 doesn't support other mod, and to be honest I can't really blame them. I was just trying to give advice on how to stop the G thing. I went ahead and tested my theory, turns out I can now say that is the case. Here are 2 traffic stops 1st with my ELS config ( having the ELS siren bound to another key). The second I changed it back to its default which is G. I entered gggg into the computer in both. 1st one no siren 2nd hello mr siren. Also in both of them, when I pulled them over I had my siren on and after saying pull over , it never came back on in either case. One thing to note though even if you change the ELS config the normal GTA siren will still work using the G key. In both videos I used G for the siren. There are other benefits to doing this also. One if you like to cycle through the siren modes ELS provides, it works betters since it's no longer fighting with the GTA s. At least that's my 2 cents.

Very nice videos. A pleasure to watch someone play LCPDFR with a bit of realism. :-)

Just one question: could you tell me where you got those skins or provide a link?

Thanks in advance!

"Dura lex, sed lex"

Very well done videos unr3al, thank you. In fact they we so good that you already earned my subscription. Hope you will do more LCPD:FR related stuff, keeping the same realistic aspect you have in these videos.

Keep up the good work!

Thanks all, and thanks for the advice on ELS. I'll take a look into it in another day or so, long work night tonight, won't get the chance to play with it.

It depends on of the transport officers actually make it to the suspect or not I think. As an example, if there's a traffic jam where the pursuit happened, lets say on a highway entrance ramp, if the backup unit cant get through the cars, they won't be able to do their own gunpoint arrest. They'll just keep trying to drive forward.
