How to disable Ctrl + M that calls for an ambulance?

You can also hit Ctrl and *then* M - the keypresses are "sticky".

I found a fix: you just press once control, then fast press M so it will pop-up anyway & no ambulance :)

I have already tried that but it still calls for an ambulance, yesterday I got the panel up one time but it took about 15 ambulances to be called then I finally got it and then couldn't close it and then I still haven't been able to open it. Any help?

The ELS.ini in your directory, then at the top where it says all the controls, look for "Toggle_InfoPanel ="

Now just change the number that's there to "189" without quotes! That then makes your key "CTRL + -"

Tried it but it didn't work.

Did you make a space after the = ? so Toggle_InfoPanel = 189

I've been wanting to change this too! I tried changing different things but none of them worked. Hopefully somebody comes up with a solution!

Yes I did, then ingame I pressed (Ctrl) + (-) and even tried (Ctrl) + (+) and also both combined while ingame.

I don't know man. The only thing that I can say is maybe the car status got turned off some how? Do the lights turn on?

That's weird how they don't work.

EDIT: Here's a screenshot of what my settings look like though

Reassign the key in the ELS.ini using the included key codes in the ELS V7 manual.  I made mine ctrl/prntscrn.  [Print Screen].

Also, if you set specific vehicle .ini files then you'll never have to fuss around with the info panel again.

  nice post cd45,

i was going to ask firefighter to copy and paste his ini setting in here.

I searched the forums when I had this problem and came across a topic with a fix. Hold ALT+CTRL+M and the menu will pop up with no ambulance being called and no conflicts.
