GPS/HUD with street names?

Featured Replies

Hi guys,

I was just wondering if anyone has a link to a mod that shows your street name underneath your min-map, constantly.

I sometimes have it when Policing Script or DAS is installed, but only in the vehicle or sometimes not at all!

I would appreciate it if someone could find one as I can't!

Thanks,

If you're using ELS it will show your location under the mini-map whenever you are in a ELS enabled vehicle.

I don't know of a mod that displays the names under the mini-map constantly but you could use the Google Maps Radar mod as an alternative as that shows most of the street names on the mini-map itself.

No problem.

I had a look through 10 pages of script mods on GTA4Mods and I couldn't find one mod close to what you are after. I'm sure it'd be pretty easy to code into the game if you could find someone willing to do it for you.

If you have LCPDFR installed it automatically shows the street names underneath the minimap.

Are you sure Crawford ?

I've never seen that with LCPDFR.

Only with ELS, in vehicles.

Indeed, that's ELS' feature, not LCPDFR's.

Really?! That's actually new to me. I didn't use ELS when I first started but I remember having the street names, huh. My bad for giving false info. Sorry!! :)

You aren't the only one surprised! I didn't think ELS did that!
