Biker almost killed

Featured Replies

That's why you don't stop in the middle of a busy road.... lest you want to get yourself dead!

Actually, you can stop wherever the fuck you want. It's the duty of the (wo)man behind you to watch the distance to your car and stop if necessary. Luckily enough the biker didn't get injured.

Calm down buddy!  No need to get excited.

You're right, you can stop anywhere you want, you'll also get killed doing so if some idiot driver isn't paying attention.  FYI:  just because the idiot driver should have been paying attention and stop don't mean she/he will, as we can plainly see.

If the biker wanted to he could probably press charges. In any rear-end situation, the person who is hit is not at fault. No matter the circumstances. The person behind them failed to stop, therefore leaving them at fault.

I just saw this on the news earlier today, this was pretty sketchy and could have been far worse.

Haha. Don't be so naive. It's often due to the car drivers lack of concentration that they do not see bikers. May I ask where you got that statistic from?

Not all bikers think they own the road, some are stupid, sure, but there are many that are careful riders. It's due to rash decisions made by drivers when they see motorcyclists or their lack of concentration that accidents are caused. It's usually cars pulling out without spotting the motorcycle coming from the side.

Friggin' road bikes...What a puss!  Shake it off dude!

I use to race DH moutain bikes in the NORBA Nationals and took bigger spills than that going 40mph downhill at Mammoth Mountain and Big Bear (during the Shaun Palmer days).  Now that shit is dangerous and fast.

I know what you mean. Lol. I used to race BMX bike and wrecked a few times. IT wasn't nearly as dangerous as what you did but it still could mess you up. I've also been hit by a golf cart, kind of funny, but it still hurt. hahaha.

Shouldn't of said I hate all bikers,  hate the ones who own the road and think they can do what they want. Like the dumb ass's who go 120 MPH down the free way....

This isn't so related, but it has motorcycles. Earlier this week over in Michigan, there were a few idiots riding their sports bikes. They were going extremely fast down a 4 lane highway, and one of them hit a car, then flew straight into a cement wall and died. The other biker said, "0 fucks given on this day," and kept driving.

Anyways, I think a majority of the bikers do think they own this place, and they try to interfere with traffic and such. Just my opinion, though.

You could not be more right about that....
